This landscape rezzer instantly makes your house or shop in the sky part of a big 3D panoramic environment. The amount of detail of the sculpted prims and of the dedicated, baked textures is very high. This rezzer is not just a picture on a sphere or on a box: it is made out of sculpted prims, and the sky remains fully visible.
This item has this functionality:
• Switch to a different landscape scene or season (by HUD)
• Change the surface textures of most landscape parts (more than 250 textures available in the HUD): you can even use your own textures
• Adjust texture properties: brightness, glow, transparency, repeat factor, color, full bright, shininess
• De-rez landscape sections and rez them again later
• A script takes the landscape to the best position on your land. You can rotate and move it afterwards like any other object in SecondLife. Do not drop it too close to the edge, it may go off-world and end up in your Lost and Found folder!
• Allow others to change the scene and surface textures
Other characteristics are:
• Its size is 250x250m. An island measures 256x256m, which means it about covers your island and goes outside its limits if you place it close to the sim borders. If you are on an island, however, it cannot be seen from other islands that do not share one full border with your island. Islands that just touch at the corners are no problem to use this item.
• You can combine this landscape with other landscape elements, like waves and rock structures.
• Matching terrain textures for your land are available in the in-world store.
To your viewer this landscape is a set of sculpted prims with textures. Technically there is not much difference from, for example, a detailed set of furniture. The textures do not contain an alpha channel and are not animated, except for the ocean waves. There are no particle systems in this item. The surface and sculpt textures take some time to load, but after that they cause no lag and do not obstruct your movements.
Mega prims
This landscape item is made of mega prims. There is one known issue that applies to skybox environments:

This is exactly what I was looking for. I didn't want to use an entire sim to make a skybox environment. This works great! It includes water, all kinds of textures, and is well organized with lots of options!

A must have!
I got one their sim surrounds as a gift and saw the skybox on the mp. I knew it would be just as awesome as the surround and it is! I love it. My sky home now feels more like a home than a plank in the sky.
Skybox Environment Rezzer - Superb Solution!
I so wish I had discovered this product long ago! I have bought a lot of housing builds that were not sky boxes but alas I wanted to rez them in the sky. Of course, I could rez a platform in the sky for them but getting a realistic residential effect ended at the edges of the platform. With this environment rezzer, I no longer feel that I'm 'living in a 'box'. The HUD, loaded with over 250 textures to change environment settings, is easy to use. I just wish it had a 'favorites' setting so we could save our custom textured environmental settings to pick from to rez elsewhere or at another time.
