Feels like a castle, feels like home/
I got this 4 days ago and I love it. I wanted it on a hill which I spent almost 2 days trying to accomplish. Even tho i own my land, it is mainland as would not cooperate,
I eventually put it on a platform which I could texture, but it still looked just odd. There were spaces under the castle and i was getting really frustrated. Then I happen to see the land forms kit.
I didn't know exactly what it was but I decided to give it a try. Once I opened the package and tried it out I was amazed. Finally I deleted the platform and began to fill the space under and around the castle. It got better and better and began to look as tho there was ground and plants under the castle and around it.
Even more amazing is that it acts like ground. It can be walked on.
This type of ground cover makes it easier to place these large buildings and get them level even if your ground is not.
the castle is beautiful and it looks like and feels like an old well made stone castle. As others have said it is brighter than some castles. I also like the use of what looks like woven rugs which makes this feel homey.
Yes, there are nooks and crannies to discover and the space can be well used as a home.
The footprint is smaller and better for those who would like a castle that looks and feels as real as those much larger.
I will be using it as a celtic piece.

I am in Love! Studio-Skye didn't miss a thing on this castle from the Rich Detailed Textures to the Artistic Open Flow this castle is one of the best builds in SL. Unlike most this castle is not dark, drab and boring, instead it is a live with creativity and imagination begging for you to explore. The layout is open and inviting.. no needless space/rooms or thoughtless maze like halls to get turned about in. The structure its self is of quality with no gaps in prims or texture flashes.... a wonderful work of perfection!

Outstanding build. It's a delight to get away from the dark and dreary gray-to-near-black of most castles I've seen in SL. The snake motif throughout could only have been enhanced, perhaps with a few heads, though the overall feel is wonderful. The space is used well, and you'll find no shortage of nooks and crannies to investigate or decorate. The high ceilings allow you free reign with your cameras, as well. I will definitely enjoy having this for a home/workshop.
