Skye Terrain textures for Second Life are designed to give you a quality range of textures with subtle variations on a theme. The aim is to give you more choice and control over your design.
This set has been created to give you complete control over any coastal design. There is a choice of silver, yellow and white sand in fine and course texture. Each colour runs from wet rippled sands to dry and smooth then smoothly into beachy vegetation/ ground cover to give you a pleasingly realistic effect.
NOTE: I used texture 6-5 from this set as the basis for my beach building kits.
All screenshot are inworld SL on a sim created to test this set out.
These textures are seamless and at 512 by 512px

Good textures but a bit disappointing in use
However these textures are very well made they are a bit disappointing in use as you still need quite some building techniques to make a land look good -- especially when you only have part of a sim then it takes quite some skills to create a good looking grass-sandy look. Please put that information in the product info so people know that they are ONLY going to purchase (very good looking!) textures.
