The Sombre Saxon is the next generation of Sombre fire appliance. Scripts and equipment have been overhauled from previous vehicles for a realistic, immersive, and fun roleplay experience. Bored of only doing fires? Try Sombre.
This vehicle can extinguish HDFS2 fires, but is not affiliated with HD Emergency in any way.
Based on British and Irish fire appliances from the early 2000s. Carries 1800 litres of water and 130 litres of foam. Contains over 40 unique roleplay items, realistic pump with cavitation, realistic driving with damage and refillable fluids. Comes in RHD and LHD.

This is a proper fire appliance with a full range of fire and rescue equipment (See bottom of listing for a full equipment list). Equipment is accessed through the Sombre Gear HUD which can be used by anyone, even if they don't own the vehicle. Most items are interactive and have some kind of function beyond just holding them.

Vehicle is modify because all good things are. Link / unlink stuff to your hearts content. Most scripts are no-mod with the exception of addons.

Not Easy but
nothing is Easy when you Start with a New Vehicle.
But what this Vehicle all have is Incredible.
Well i Overheat my Pump when i try to Get Water from LindenWater but hey all Begin is hard.

Amazing
I am not a roleplayer, I just wanted a fire truck. I love this style of fire truck. I am shocked at how much it includes, for the price it's just unbeatable for me.
Great for many reasons
Not only is it a complete, working fire engine with tons of roleplay options and working tools onboard, but it's incredibly customizable and serves as a giant source of tools and parts to remove and add to other vehicles.
As others have pointed out it would be even better if it was compatible with HD Emergency Hydrants (and vice versa) but I can't fault this creator for that when it requires both creators to agree and collaborate on a standard like that. This fire engine INCLUDES the hydrants you would need for it, rather than being a separate purchase, so there's that too!
Great Firetruck
This fire truck is an impressive and essential vehicle, fully equipped to handle emergencies efficiently. Its wide range of tools, from hoses and ladders to rescue equipment, ensures firefighters can respond to any situation. Having access to all the truck’s equipment allows for a better rp quality.
I was so impressed with the Sombre Saxon in other Sims in SL I had to buy my own!
I never knew about the Sombre Saxon fire truck until I spent some time in other second life fire fighting role play simulations. Only then did I discover how life like this fire truck is to real life, my only problem was my viewer has issues reading small font's for tire pressures and sometimes the pressure gauges. But this is not the fault of the Sombre it is my old computer, I love the ease it is to use so I bought one thank's go to Libby for building such easy customisation fire equipment.
