The Chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs), also known as spink, scobby, shellapple, wetbird, or roberd, is a very familiar bird in Europe. It is the most common finch in western Europe, and its range extends into western Asia, and northwestern Africa. In many countries the chaffinch is a popular pet bird.

- "Chaffinch, wear - right shoulder (sound on touch)" as above, positioned to sit on your right shoulder.
- "Chaffinch (sound at intervals/daytime)" plays one of three short songs at random intervals (15-40 seconds) during daytime; at night it is silent.
- "Chaffinch (sound at intervals)" plays one of three short songs at random intervals (15-40 seconds), whether it is day or night.
- "Chaffinch (silent)" makes no sounds.
- "Chaffinch (unscripted)" makes no sounds and does not blink.
