MASTER LIGHTING REMOTE
This is useful if you have several lights from my collection (8 available).
You can control all the different types of light at once as well as rez individual sub remotes.
REMOTE & LIGHT CONFIGURATION.
In Edit mode, right click on the remote and in the contents inside the you will find a notecard called ‘Configuration”. Here you can set the chat channel that the remote uses as well as access settings (Group, Owner, Public), the Beam Pulse timer setting and use up to 5 letters to label your remote, so you know which remote is which. There is further instructions inside the Configuration notecard. Once your done just save the notecard and reset the scripts. Remember if you change to a new chat channel you will need to set up a light with the same chat channel – You will find a configuration notecard inside each light where you can set this. (again just save the notecard and reset the lights scripts)
LIGHT BEAM LENGTH
The Light beam itself is a separate prim so if you go into "Edit" mode and check the 'Edit Linked Parts' box and left click the beam you will see you can stretch the beam bigger or smaller to suit your needs.
BARNDOORS /FLAPS
The "Barndoor" flaps on the front of the light are a separate face so you can make these transparent if you wish to give some variation to your spotlights
REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS
MAIN ON/OFF
Far top right you have the main power switch which turns the lights On and when turned Off will shut down all light functions and return the light to its default position.
NAME LABEL
To the left of the Main on/off you will see a 5 character word which you can use to label the remote, so you know which remote works with which set of lights. Inside the remote you will find a configure notecard which you can use to set this word – For example you could use Set1, Set 2, Front. Back, etc – Just type in the 5 letter word you want and save the notecard.
COLOR PICKER.
This is the section on the upper left.
Just click on the ‘Color Picker’ to set the color you want and then use the ‘grayscale’ section just to the right to adjust the light/darkness.
Using this section, you can set the Lights to any color you want.
GLOW SETTINGS
Below this in the lower left you’ll see a selection of pre-set 'Glow' buttons that sets the lights GLOW.
AUTO CONTROLS
Below the Main Power on the right you will see 3 Auto On/ Off buttons
*COLOR CYCLE - This automatically changes the color of the lights for you and cycles through a selection of colors.
* BEAM PULSE - This automatically flashes the beam on and off and cycles through the various beam types. You can adjust the timing of this in the Configuration notecard.
* AUTO MOVE – This starts and stops an auto movement sequence.
LIGHT BEAM PICKER
On the middle right side you’ll see there is a choice of 6 different textures to change the light beams giving different lengths and styles.
MOVEMENT CONTROLS
Bottom left you will see the ‘Movement’ section.
The green arrows choose direction and speed – the dark green arrows move the light 15 degrees up/ down/left and right on each click. The lighter green arrows are medium and fast rotation left and right. The STOP button stops all movement and resets the light to its default position.

Did the trick
I was able to customize these to look great in my environment and light the necessary areas with them without obscuring the objects they are lighting. Yes, they are meant for a stage, but could work for any place you need to light an object from a distance.
Nice Light Spots
Very good Light Spots they work really good for this Price .
Sehr gute Spotlights sehen sehr gut aus und fuktioniern einwadnfrei .
Not Your Average PAR!
I work event production for a living IRL. I needed to light a small stage here in SL. These did the trick quite nicely with a few more features than I expected! The color-picker is a nice perk, as are the beam shapes, intensities and animation. I've never seen a PAR move IRL but this one does! A nice touch for a dance floor or eye candy stage light (not so much so for a static hang).
Pros:
- Easy to set up (but a little tricky to set initial focus)
- Easy to configure (RTFM!)
- Flexible configurations for more elaborate installations with multiple banks of lights.
- Easy to run via HUD or Control Panel (you can even name the light bank!)
- Can work from either or both HUD and CP at the same time.
- Being able to skip installing a CP and just using the HUD simplifies security.
Cons:
- Very hard to focus with the edit point mid-beam and not at the source.
- No way to turn the light off without powering down the whole thing (needs a Blackout button)
- No way to clear the color or reset to white.
- No way to disable movement or prevent the light from moving (I just needed simple PARs)
- Aesthetically weird to see a PAR moving but... whatever. It's cool (so not really a con)
Wishlist:
- Would like to be able to enable/disable controls on the CP (no touchy!)
- Would like to be able to lock the light's position and disable movement (stay where pointed)
- Would like to have a Blackout control and a White preset.
- An S4/Leko option/variation to look more like a theater light for pro stage environments
Overall: a well-made product with a few quirks that delivers what it promises!
not a happy camper
i'm sorry i bought this. it doesnt shine the light where it points. it does light but its always one directional, i can spin the spot around but it DOES NOT illuminate any differently. if i could i'd return the product for a refund. if you want to do something with this, like light a painting or some art? forgetaboutit.
awesome
I really love all the lighting I've bought from you for my club. So realistic
Great lights with nice features and lots of controls
These lights are good. Very nice looking and work very well. And they are modifiable so you can customize them as needed. Two suggestions:
1. Add local lighting effect to the beams.
2. Significant prim reduction could be achieved on the control box by using llDetectedTouchUV and removing most of the prim buttons.
