The AA Springer Tug is a multi purpose work boat that feels right at home in any Second Life port. It has accurate custom physics and LOD models, and while it weighs in at a modest 75Li, it is still able to nudge ships many times its size around! All original mesh, textures, sounds & coding, specifically made for SL by your favorite builders, Dutch, Ape and Analyse!
The Springer Tug is powered by the BOSS Dynamic Boat Engine for realistic movement and great control. With a simulated 1200 horsepower it can be snappy when operated stand alone and a powerhouse when pushing or pulling its included barge!
The included barge is GTFO ready and can be pushed as well as pulled, and with the included bollard you can even make your own gear to pull around!
The Springer Tug comes equipped with two HD Fire System compatible water cannons so you can keep your port protected from fires, and if you find yourself in distress and in need of assistance, your mayday will alert the real SL Coastguard!
The features on the Springer Tug are many, from its fully working instrument panel, the full set of navigation lights, hazard signals and floodlights, to its electrical, oil & fuel systems and of course a working toilet and shower!
The Springer Tug has a fully accessible interior with an engine room, assembly station, galley, head, and crew cabin, a functional interior lighting system, radio, black-jack game, coffee maker and a toaster are among the crew comforts!
The Springer Tug is modify, and all textures come included in full perms, the animations system used is AVSitter and sits three people out of the box.

very realistic driving
(Google Translate) The ship is fun when it's GTFO! is used. But be careful, it is not suitable for ordinary sailors at the helm, because it behaves quite realistically. When the barge is coupled, the association - as in reality - becomes very sluggish. It is important to drive with foresight, otherwise you will end up stranded or hit the cliffs. It would be nice to have the option of coupling a second barge. It would be good if the barge could also load containers or finished goods.
The good thing is that if the barge catches fire, there is a fire extinguishing system available.
My new favorite Boat !!
This is an awesome boat. Purchased a paint job for it, and it was super easy !!! Great boat !!!
It's good... but texturing is hell.
It all works fairly well (can be a bit shaky on some crossings) and it is a lot more fun than some other GTFO boats because of its realism... but the texture layout is really awful. If you just want to get rid of those "AA" markings you're ok but don't try to recolour anything, not even that (quite ridiculous) white upper hull, because then you'll end up in loads of very badly laid-out textures where you have to guess which bit is which. No logic, no UVs to help, nothing.
My favourite boat!
I've been getting into GTFO lately and I wanted a high capacity freight vessel.
This fits the bill, but it's so much more than just a GTFO earner. Very nice attention to detail and a joy to drive.
Little things like the way the barge sits lower in the water when loaded, and the way it slightly bobs independently of the tug when driving.
Very reasonable land impact when considering the size and detail of the vessel. I've been sailing around the blake sea with it for several days now and have yet to have a failed sim crossing. Nice!
Loads of animations as well if that's your bag.
So much attention to detail
This Barge boat thingy has so much attention to detail, and great sounds, a real looking barge with a loaded mode and empty. It looks good sounds good, and drives great.
So much funny!!! ^^
it is impossible to get bored with this tug. It seems to embark on a real one .. there are many things to do :D
