The Srs Corp. Kestrel Pistol is an efficient, highly customizable plasma pistol.

>Firearm Summary<
The Kestrel is the result of demand for an affordable, yet
durable handgun capable of firing plasma cartridges. Available
in a wide variety of colors, the Kestrel is a favorite of street
gangs, police enforcers, and military contractors. Each cartridge
is a standard .45 caliber brass shell with a reactive ion bullet
coated in a layer of copper.

Reskinning HUD
The included reskinning HUD allows you to quickly change the colors of your weapon. Both your held and holstered weapons are colored at the same time as well. Each part of the weapon (eg. barrel, handle, sights, etc) are independently colorable. Want a green barrel with a black handle? you can do it! There are 25 different skins to mix and match too!

Holster
The simple to use holster complete with drawing and slinging animations makes your roleplay or combat even more immersive! The holster also features 4 different skins, one of them being a light grey for recoloration.

Suppressor
Animated for attaching and detaching, the suppressor has its own effects and sounds, reducing the loud noise of plasma fire and decreasing the plasma discharge of the bullets (no particle trails on the rounds)

Scope
A simple attachable scope that adds character to the gun and nothing more! Looks neat and futuristic!

Idle Animations
This weapon features short animations while your avatar is not in combat. They include inspecting the chambre, looking around, and quickly looking down the sights to check alignment.

Effects
Since this is a plasma pistol, you can expect some of the best plasma effects you've ever seen! The muzzle flares, the bullets leave fizzing (non-laggy) bullet trails, and the weapon ejects casing particles!

Roleplay meters and combat
This weapon works with all hit-based combat systems, and also works with LL Damage based combat.

This handgun is comes from many hours of work, and we strive

Commands:
Included are gesture commands that allow you to perform quick
actions. Melee, Draw, Reload, and Magcheck are all included,
and are also provided with mod perms, allowing you to change
the hotkey if desired.

The following commands operate on channels 0 and 1

Reload: r

Velocity: vel #
example: vel 150 Sets velocity to 150

Firemode:
semi Enables semi-automatic fire
auto Enables automatic fire

Magcheck: magcheck
displays the current amount of rounds in the magazine

Suppressor: sup
toggles the suppressor on and off

Holster: sling
holsters the weapon

Draw: draw
Draws the weapon

Idle:
To enable or disable the idle animations, type:
Idles on turn idle anims on
Idles off turn idle anims off

Holster Skins:
To change holster skins, type holster #
where # is a color listed below

leather brown leather
black black leather
wornleather grey, worn-out leather
lightgrey base texture, for custom colors

HUD Commands

Recoloring:
To recolor the weapon, simply click on either Individual Part,
or Entire Weapon.

Individual Part:
After clicking Individual part, click on a desired color. Then,
click on the gun model which part you wish to recolor.

Entire Weapon:
After clicking Entire weapon, click a color to change the
entire gun's skin to that color.

Melee
To activate the ULTIMATE KICK, simply activate the included
melee gesture, and press the V key.

Note: This melee does only a small amount of damage, and
pushes avatars even in non-push sims.
