Starbase Cargo Airlock

This airlock is designed for loading and unloading cargo, freight and bulky equipment on and off your starbase or space station. This airlock adds an extra level of authenticity to your starbase. It can be connected to any of the other Exosphere starbase modules with just a touch and gives you controlled access into or out of your base.

There is a large loading gate that opens on touch or by voice command. As it opens, the gate folds out and deploys itself as a loading platform which you can use access any delivery craft waiting outside. When your crates and other equipment is safely inside the airlock, you can close the outside loading doors and they will reseal the airlock, folding back up into a triangular gate.

Once inside the airlock, you'll see a tunnel-shaped wall. Touch this and it will slide slowly across, sealing off the exterior doors while at the same time, opening up the internal airlock door that provides you with access through to the rest of the starbase.

The side walls have two viewing portholes on the sides along with animated technical display panel and notices at the airlock wall.

The airlock owner can optionally lock or unlock the external cargo doors by simply using a 'long-touch', i.e. touching and holding for a couple of seconds.

The unit is richly textured and has a very low prim land impact. This prop is an excellent functional tool for your starbase and for sci-fi role play and it's built with the usual Exosphere quality.

Here's an idea.. why not put one next to the Warehouse Storage Sphere? Or use in conjunction with the Crew Airlock?
