This special starbase module is where the starbase technicians are attempting to cultivate and propagate eco-hybrid system of alien and earth plants in space. You even get a couple of soil plots and the plants to go with them. This module makes for great RP.

This module is the eco-centre for investigating alien plant growth in outer space. It has a two access doors, placed in the centre of each of the end walls. There are two side channels filled with soil and fed with nutrients pumped from pipes running along the edges of the module. The plants are kept behind a bank of two sets of sliding doors on either side of the lab. Just touch the colored doors to open or close them. In the centre are two control panels to monitor the plant activity.

The internal sliding doors and framework are included but optional and you can choose to keep the space open if you wish. Installing them is as simple as touching a plate on the side.

It looks as though there has been some form of plant growth contamination! Alien spores have started spreading across the work surfaces. There's also leaves everywhere and lots of strange vines hanging from the walls. I think this place is getting out of hand and its time you took control.

Your plant specimens come on a soil platform and ready to use. Most of the plants are from earth, but there are a couple of alien specimens, too. There are large rocks and boulders along with ferns, trees, shrubs and grasses. There's even a couple of giant glowing mushrooms from the Arcturus Spiral Cluster. Two of the boulders have been fitted with irrigation water sprays that can be turned on or off at a touch. The soil platforms also have Magno-Bolt magnetic plates so you can attach them easily to the sides of the lab. You can also put your own plants in, if you wish.

Soil Platform A: [8 prims]
This contains several grasses and two giant mushrooms are glowing with an unearthly phosphorescence.

Soil Platform B: [8 prims]
Two large boulders conceal a water spray irrigation system to keep the plants moist. Touch a boulder to activate the sprays or to turn them off.

Soil Platform C: [12 prims]
Strange seed-like pods have grown tentacles and seem to be ready to hatch!

The module comes as an open plan design so you can have plenty of room to move around. The internal door system is included and there are auto-attach plates on the walls to make placing them easy.

All the Exosphere starbase modules can easily be joined together by simply touching their bulkhead door frames. They'll move themselves into place and align themselves automatically. This module comes with free bulkhead end caps so you can make this into a separate stand-alone module, or you can join it to others to form a larger base.
