SISBox is an accessory for Subscriber Kiosk 3.0 that stores items sent by the kiosk and lets your subscribers retrieve items that may have been lost, misplaced, or were not delivered.

Subscriber Kiosk automatically deletes items after they are sent to the list of subscribers in order to prevent accidentally re-sending the same items twice. However, subscribers also need a way to obtain items they may have missed. The solution is the Sent Item Storage Box (SISBox) accessory for Subscriber Kiosk 3.0.

Whenever items are sent to the list of subscribers by using the "Send Item(s)" command on the Master Kiosk, a copy is also sent to the associated SISBox. Subscribers can simply touch the SISBox to see a numbered list of previously sent items and the date each was sent, with the most recent items listed first. The requester is (optionally) verified to be a current subscriber and is then prompted to select the items they wish to receive. They will then be given the requested items.

When there are sent items available in the SISBox, a stack of papers appears in the box. The thickness of this stack is proportional to the number of items in the SISBox. The maximum number of stored items is 50, after which the oldest items are deleted as new items are added. It also has an optional auto-delete function that automatically deletes items that are more than an owner specified number of days old. When the SISBox is empty, the stack of papers disappears.

The SISBox can be made a part of a linked prim set with a Master Kiosk, or can be set up as a separate device anywhere in the same region as its associated Master Kiosk. It can even receive, store and dispense items sent from multiple Master Kiosks.

SISBox has several options that can be specified by the owner via a notecard:

* List Type. Specifies how list of sent items is to be shown and selected, e.g., via pop-up dialog box or in chat.
* Auto-delete. Enable or disable automatic deletion of items in the SISBox that have been there for more than an owner specified number of days.
* Subscriber Verification. Enable or disable the SISBox to verify a requester is a current subscriber before offering a list of sent items.
* Show Pre-subscription items. Enable or disable showing items whose date sent is earlier than the requester's subscription date.

NOTE: The SISBox is compatible with any Version 3.0 Master Kiosk (e.g. Lite, Basic, Standard or Pro). Owners of earlier kiosk versions (e.g. 2.41) must upgrade to Version 3.0. Master Kiosk Update Kits and upgrades from version 2.41 to 3.0 are available at no cost to current owners from the Subscriber Kiosk 3.0 vendor board in-world at our store Night Sky - Fred's Corner.

New Features Added! The SISBox Kit now includes an alternate design (SISBox Light) comprised of a metal ring and central light that flashes green when items are in the SISBox and read when it is full. Includes optional hover text that displays status and number of items in the SISBox. Also included is an open source script in the child prim (central light) that controls the operation of the light and interfaces to the SISBox Manager script via linked messages. This provides an example so you can write your own scripts to customize the SISBox operation to your liking.

Subscriber Kiosk Update Release 6 (November 2010) added the capability for your customers to access the SISBox from any Remote Kiosk in the same region.
