The Surveillance Laptop is a mobile version of our Middle Brother-2 Surveillance System, which supports displaying in a user's SL window live images taken at previously stored camera positions and angles.
This version stores/retrieves camera views in absolute (regional) format, which makes their display independent of your current position in the sim. In other words, if you store some views in one sim corner and then carry the laptop to another corner the views would not change. This allows you to observe locations on your property regardless of your own sim location. (Subject to limitations of your viewer's camera constrains.)
The best thing is that it doesn't even have to be your property! The surveillance laptop works either rezzed or attached so you don't need to have land rezzing privileges.
The views are stored via an easy setup that does not require entering any numbers and allows to store dozens external views literally in minutes. Attach the laptop, click it for the setup, position the cam with your cam controls up to as far as your viewer allows, and save... click, position the next one and save... As easy as that!
Then go to a dark sim corner, re-attach the laptop and... start spying. If caught, go to another dark corner, re-attach the laptop and... still display the same views. Big Brother is always watching. With our Middle Brother you watch at some times... they just don't know when.
For security surveillance on commercial properties (stores, clubs, malls, parks, etc.) use our stationary Middle Brother-2 Surveillance System (see related items).
There is also "Spy'N Pose-2" easy setup Mirror which is a similar product intended for home use and stores' dressing rooms. It combines surveillance and posing in a one-prim classic mirror.
