This is basically a simple T-Pose animation, with priority 4.
I saw that multiple stores were selling T-Poses, something that basically is just exporting the default animation pose in any animation program such as QVAnimator for over 90L$ with terms to prevent free redistribution, so I decided to make my own.
Distribute it as you wish, there are no "terms" for this and there shouldn't be any, use it as you will and you don't need to credit me for anything, I'm just happy to help other creators.
- Full Perms
- No terms
Such a basic item, and so awesome!
I just wish to thank you profusely for selling this item FULL PERM.
You see, *of course* I have T Poses scattered all over my inventory — accumulated as freebies over two decades. But can you believe that NONE have the correct perms... for Gestures?
I'm lazy, I'm well aware that there are pose stands of all kinds (HUDs, too). But I'm the gesture girl. I don't like wading through my inventory searching for the correct name of the correct item. I just type /freeze and it runs the T pose. /unfreeze and it goes away. Works everywhere, no items necessary, no HUD attached, no pose stand to be dropped on the ground, I don't even need to *stop* my AO (and then forget how to set it up correctly again).
Alas!... Linden Lab only allows you to create new poses with animations for which you have full perms. Fancy that. But it sort of makes sense in a very weird way — since you can sell gestures separately from animations, I guess.
In any case... sure, I know I could upload a BVH file with a T pose, done on whatever tool that creates BVH files, or possibly even just grab it from one of the gazillions of free poses/animations on Daz3D & friends, or — why not? — *type the BVH manually from scratch* (it+s a text file, after all). and then upload it. Sure! And I would spend at least L$10... and only figure out, after the fact, that the animation didn't get the priorities right, or didn't work with Bento avatars, or something stupid like that.
Archie just sells exactly what you need, with the permissions that you need, without fuss or thinking twice about the purchase, and IT WORKS. It also costs L$1. That's a tenth of it would cost for me to upload it — even assuming I got it right on the first attempt, which I very likely won't.
Seriously, you have no idea how desperately useful this animation is when dolling up yourself... especially in a hurry. Gestures rock, but they need friendly animators to cooperate.
Thank you so much for doing this!
Perfect !
Glad I checked MP was afraid they wold be sold for a lot of lindens <3
I would have uploaded my own otherwise and handed it out freely, this works great!
<3 thank you so much for taking the time to upload and share with us!
Yayo
I just started modeling and rigging in Blender and wanted to transpose my SL avi over to VRChat. This pose is basically FREE and is perfect for what I'm hoping to accomplish. Well done and thank you!
