Who doesn't love "sync-dancing"? How cool is it when all the synchronized dancers are nicely spaced and even? Well, <TA> Line Dance Positioning System makes getting in just the right arrangement easy for all people.

HOW IT WORKS:

With the positioning balls (or tiles) in place, dancers can "Sit" on the ball or tile, and they will assume a position in the correct place. Then all that is needed is to join a synchronized dance that is provided by any other dance machine or chim. This system starts all the dancers off in the right place and the dance machine will control animations. (A OWENIMATIONS Dance Chim is included, which can be worn or rezed in-world. Clicking on this device will animate dancers.)

Version 2.0 is a rebuild using AVsitter 2.2. Dancers will be able to easily adjust their position (Probably, their "Z" position—up and down) as desired. The initial position is affected by avatar height, so adjusting up/down will probably be desirable.

A hover text script is included if you want to mark your positions. (2023: At The Redux, our home sim, we use "!" to mark the tiles so that dancers can find them.) The hover text goes away when sat upon. Open the script and edit (comments in script give directions).

If, for some reason, you want the ball/tile to be visible after being sat upon, delete the "<TA>Hide Prim On Sit" script (make sure it is visible first!).

INCLUDED:

The system includes ball and tile types. The ball type is best for venues where ease of the visitor experience is priority, while the tile type (which can better blend in with floor design) is better where visual appeal is priority.

Each type comes as a single, as a linked set of 5 with 1 meter spacing, and as a set of 5 with .75 meter spacing. The 1 meter spacing tends to work will with most dances, but if space is an issue, the .75 meter spacing can be used and occasionally, dancers bodies might touch or cross.

IMPORTANT: When using the sets, you NEED TO UNLINK THEM once they are placed so that the hide/show function works properly.

NOTICE:
-- This is NOT a dance machine. It relies on the animation of any OTHER dancing machine which synchronizes dancers. This system provides for perfect positioning of avatars as they are dancing.

Instructions:

1 Rez this.

2. Position so that the ball or tile is flush with the dance surface.

3. Copyable, so add as many dance positions as you like and move them into place as you wish.

ADVANCED MODIFICATIONS

###Change Textures (Linked Balls) ###

1. Open your inventory and locate the textures you desire to use.

2. Edit the ball.

3. Select the ball prim for the section to which you wish to load the dance. Go to the Texture tab of that prim.

4. Apply the desired put the desired texture. (Repeat for each rug section.)

5. Close the edit window and the rug should reload.

###Menu Message ###

The system is built on AVsitter 2.2, which is "public domain" now. Therefore, the AVsitter scripts and notecards are full perm

To change the menu message, open AVPos notcard. The message is at the top.

DO NOTE REMOVE the "TEXT" command. The message follows that command.
