<TA>Prim Local Light Switching Menu SCRIPT

This is a script that can be added to objects. Once added, when the object is touched, a menu comes up that will allow setting lighting parameters for that object. Each touch allows altering:one thing:

Color
Intensity
Radius
Falloff

(All the parameters come with several choices.)

Version 2.1 includes Flicker and Flame.

Flicker uses the existing settings and varies the intensity randomly.

Flame varies the color through a number of "fire" colors and varies the intensity and radius.

Version 2.3 adds glow to the thing giving off the light, such as lamps, whenever light intensity is not zero. The amount of glow can be configured at the top of the script by changing 1 value.

The script is modifiable. This means you could steal it. We know that! But, it also means (if you now a little coding) you can add colors or other settings.

With that said, THIS IS A GREAT SCRIPT TO GET A FIRST GLANCE AT USING MENUS! (We probably could have done it differently, but… )

Okay, it's not that complex! See the instructions below!

== Why We Wrote This Script ==

We are doing some small scale property rental. Without adding prims to the houses, we added these scripts to various things already there (room dividers, ceiling, posts… NOT FLOOR OR MAIN WALL). Renters can adjust their home lighting with clicks!

Lights added. Prims unchanged!

We also are putting this in lanterns and torches for other environments.
