Backdrops are nice, but they fall FLAT when trying to give the feel of REALLY being in the streets between buildings.
The <TA>Urban Decay Prop Buildings Set 1 offers a huge improvement to just using backdrops alone.

These prop buildings can be staggered such that there is, indeed, some 3-D look and feel.

So… how? They are prime cubes with our customized textures. The boxes can be resized, and arranged as desired. Textures can be adjusted…

AND tinted. Same texture can feel like two distinct buildings in your scene.

Hope you will buy this provided that you:

1. Can resize boxes.
2. Can fiddle with the horizontal and vertical scale of a texture.
3. Can adjust the horizontal offset (to match the texture around corners).

If you can do that, then, you can get a lot from this set!

The textures on adjacent faces can be offset so that they create the look of a real corner. Setting this up is pretty easy, but it is a "minutes, not seconds, not hours" process. (Unless the provided buildings just happen to fit perfectly to your scene.)

Each "building" is 1 prim.
