Welcome to this product page :)

I made this script for myself to be able to give out a limited amount of free items to my group members.

You can see the script live at the main store (see SURL at the bottom).

You get the script which is no mod but copy and a display stand mod&copy as well as the example prim mod&copy.

The limited item giver works for owner only, group access and everyone (see at
the bottom (3) of this readme for more). The prim content will be given out only once per avatar, means no avatar can grab the content twice by purpose or accident.

The script delivers any item, can be a prim or boxed content as well as clothes,
notecards, landmarks and even bodyparts as separates/unboxed.

Script will not deliver it's own script and notecard inside prim content.

The script creates a folder in the user inventory and inform about this by local chat
(privacy chat, no one else can read this information).

Limitation: Any content must have at least copy permission or it will be gone after
giving it to someone.

1. Get the script/Prepare Prim
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The script is inside the example prim. To get this script, simply rez the object.
Right click it, select "edit" from the pie menu. Now navigate to the "content" tab,
drag the script "TGL Item Giver Count Down" and the "config" notecard from the
prim content into your inventory.

That was all, you are ready to use the script in any prim you like best (drag it
together with the config notecard inside prim content)

>> Note: You can also use the example prim if you wish ^^

2. Setup Amount of Items
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please edit the "config" notecard, the first line is by default set to "50".
This is how often you want to give out the content of your prim to people.

3. Setup Access Mode
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The access is controlled by the object description. The example object shows
a 2 (two) in object description which is group access. Access means here, who
can take out items on touch. So do not forget to put the correct description
here (if you forget, prim will tell you).

So you can change or set the name of your prim to anything you like best but
do not use text in object description, just 0,1 or 2.

Modes:

0 = Everyone, this means everyone can receive items on touch.
1 = Owner Only, this means, only you can take out items on touch.
2 = Group Only, a person of same group as the prim, can take out items on touch*

*If one does not belong to your group a link in local chat will appear so that
the person can join your group by clicking the link.

3. Important Info
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you add new content to this and if you want to fresh restart the count, reset the scripts!
To do so:

1. Right click your giver prim and select "edit" to open the builders editor.
2. Navigate to Menu "Tools -> Reset Scripts in selection"
3. Wait until it says "done"
4. Close the builders editor

Script will work if you dont do it this way but it does remember the people who already
got an item of your giver. The reset is for clearing everything and have a fresh start so
people can get the new content, if no reset people get on touch the message that they
can only have one item per avatar.
