ill give it 5 stars and i like it but i wot be using it i wish someone would find a way to make a tree look real this looks so fake the way we are forced to use textures on prims but thats just my opinion Lilith did an awesome job and id recommend these
Really really BIG but the textures are beautiful.
I usually use maples like this for smaller ornamental trees. I needed to scale these down by a lot so that the leaves weren't so large in comparison to my body.
Anyway, I love all the color combinations you can achieve with this. Truly one of the few well-textured Japanese maples that you can alpha mask and not lose a crap ton of detail in the leaf edges. Thank you!
If anything, I wish there was a deeper red available. The one in here is kind of too "pink" ? But I can tint it I guess. :)
Beautiful Japanese Maple
There are other Japanese maples in SL but the fact that this one is so beautifully and *authentically* textured, so versatile with various sizes and color options, easy to resize, and best of all extremely low LI, makes it my favorite. The leaves look just like the Japanese maple from my childhood home. I'd love to see a smaller, less wild, garden version added to the collection for use in Asian gardens. I will say that the colors on this are very vivid and I had to darken them a little to blend in with other plantings. But that was a very small adjustment that I didn't mind at all, and overall I am extremely happy with this set of trees.
THESE ARE CLEARLY MARIJUANA LEAVES
Upon rezzing them out in world it's obviously Marajuana leaves on the tree.... A tad dissapointed, I have reached out to Lilith for either a refund or a different set of trees.
