A bedside table in transitional style, decorated with satinwood marquetry and gilt bronze mounts protecting the cabriolet-shaped legs, the corners, and the front apron. white marble top.

Designed to be easily transportable as evidenced by the holes in the sides, these tables, taller than ordinary coffee tables to be accessible while still in bed, had an open interior space to place the chamber pot.

Designed after a bedside table stamped by Leonard Boudin and François Oeben.
