Talevin's Magic Typing Override HUD

Free updates as new typing overrides are added (via HippoUPDATE).

The HUD, typing overrides and effects are worn, so it is not necessary to be on a sim that allows you to rez objects in order to use. You only need to be on a sim that allows scripts to run.

Instructions:

1. If you haven't already done so, turn off the default typing animation by selecting Preferences -> Chat and unchecking "Play typing animation when chatting".

2. Wear either of the included HUDs and the left and/or right hand typing overrides. (The "Minimal" version has the same functionality as the regular version, but without the pentacle and hand images seen in the product photo.)

3. Click the On/Off button for each hand's typing override you want to use.

4. Use the arrow buttons to select the typing override for each hand.

5. Particle effects and animation activate when you start typing.

6. Use the left button under each hand to toggle between "Typing" and "Always On" mode. When "Always On" is selected, the particle effects will remain on whether you are typing or not (useful for magic roleplay).

7. Use the right button under each hand to toggle light source on and off. If the light source is too bright for you, but you still want to see the particle effects, turning this off may be a good option.

8. Use the Reset button to reset all scripts in the HUD and typing overrides. Use this if the HUD and typing overrides get out of sync or otherwise begin acting irregularly. It is recommended that when you use this button, you detach both typing overrides and reattach them.
