Linden Labs has a/will have a server side throttle that limits how often scripts can change your group to once a minute. This cannot be bypassed when it's added.

Very Functional Automatic Group Changer HUD at a Great Price Too!

Over the past several days, I've gone through many auto group changers ranging from free to up to 199L Of all the ones I've tried, this one that is only 8L and one by another seller that costs 10L work the best.

This one is both really straight forward to use and at the same time has the benefit of the option of saving information to a notecard for permanent storage in case a script reset is required. Copying the paired text (a parcel key paired with group name) is as easy as looking at local chat after assigning a group to the HUD and copying that to use in the notecard. Also, the HUD is somewhat modifiable. I thought the default HUD size was a little too big so I edited that to make a little smaller. The text color may also be changed by specifying a color vector in the HUD description.

One tip: If you are storing the information on your notecard. Once the notecard is set with what you want, do a script reset to get things all ready. For example, I wanted to use "none" as my default group. I used *|none as a line in the notecard like suggested to accomplish this. However, that didn't take effect until after I did a script reset.

Only the text color of the text is modifier. The test on tape shows the words "Current Group" and under that the group name. Just to save a little space, I would prefer that only the group name be shown as it is pretty much assumed that the group name is the current group (or no group) that is active.

I give this auto group changer 5 stars. It's one of the best ones out there and priced right too!
