Okay, here we have two teleport pads. Put them wherever you like and sitting on one will teleport you to the other.

If you move either teleport pad, then you need to reset them both. You can do this by right clicking them and selecting touch. You should see whispered text about the two teleport pads getting the position of the other. Once both pads have the other's position (should happen within 5 seconds of both of them being placed or reset), you can simply click on one to sit, which will teleport you to the other one.

Due to the limitations of shouting, the two pads can be placed anywhere as long as they are within 100 meters of each other. If you wish to bypass this restriction, you may replace the llShout commands in the scripts of both pads with llRegionSay commands. The syntax is the same.

Okay, the teleport pads now support a few chat commands. These commands will be prefaced by either /-98 or /-99 according to which pad you wish to talk to. The commands are Help (which will make the pad repeat the chat commands it knows), Reset (which will cause the pad to start its script all over - same as touching the pad), Texture (which will assign the next texture to the pad), and Verbose (which will toggle all those whispered statements). Note that all chat commands are case insensitive.

Also, if a pad notices that it has been moved, it will update its information and also inform the other pad of its new location. There are conditions that would bypass it noticing this, so it is probably still best to use a reset command on both pads or to touch both pads.

I have plans for a few more features. These include moving a pad through chat commands, resizing a pad through chat commands, and setting up a menu to replace all those chat commands.

If you want to use only one pad and set it to teleport to a specific location, simply put the pad down, then as it is asking the other pad for location, type /-98pos:<x,y,z> (for pad 1) or /-99pos:<x,y,z> (for pad 2). If you don't have these numbers, you can first put the pad where you want to teleport to and write down the location it gives then put it where you want to teleport from and use the reported location in your Pos command.

Textures are inside the pad object and you may add more if you like. I believe all the textures are public domain, but if I am using a texture that belongs to you, let me know and I'll remove it. The order of the texture files is determined by alphabetic order instead of when they are added, so rename accordingly.

I hope you find these teleport pads useful. Enjoy!

Works well after tweaking it by turning of "physical" attribute on tp pad #1.
