To see it work, rez the ExampleObject that's included, and then click it.
It optionally interfaces with AVsitter. Just turn on the gbInterfaceWithAvSitter variable in the script, and re-save it.
A full perm, full featured script for changing textures on your linkset. Optionally, you can have a separate texture for each face of each prim. Please read the instructions at the top of the "texture_sets" notecard for further instructions.
By purchasing this script, you agree to wrap it into your own creations (possibly to use, possibly to sell). And you agree to NOT sell it solely as a script. If you make modifications, those modifications are still only to be used by you or sold in your creations (and not sold as a script).
In version 1.06, added an optional ability to specify new bumpiness (normal) and shininess (specular) textures. To see how this works, read the comments in the BOTTOM of the sample "texture_sets" notecard.
In version 1.07, added two more options:
1) There's an option to have it check the on_rez parameter for that same integer being the name of a texture_set. If that name (number) is found, when the object is rezzed, that texture_set will be applied. This allows the possibility of one object rezzing another and simultaneously applying a texture_set when it's rezzed.
2) There's the ability to just leave the listener on. This would allow the development of a HUD for changing the texture_sets. However, development of this HUD and the script for that HUD (which llSay(channel, texture_set); would be up to the builder-person.
Just what I needed!
This is an awesome script for changing textures of multiple items in one set when you don't want to insist on using a HUD. The instructions are easy to follow and the price is far too cheap in my opinion but my pockets are grateful!
Awesome
It works!! I needed this script to change texture along with AVsitter and it works well. Thanks!
Not what I thought it was!
This is probably and error on my part but I bought this to put in a hud for some clothes I am making and although it does say AVsitter use optional, everything in the notecards is about this particular use so don't buy it if *texture changing for clothes* is what you need. Wish have included that in the title of the product. Not a huge loss and not gonna leave a 1 star review for my mistake, and you know it probably works great for Avsitter objects.
OUTSTANDING TOOL
Up until now, I have not been able to find a script to add textures changes inside the AVSitter and have instead relied on HUD for my texture changes. I highly recommend this system. I do recommend that if you use this, you have some (though not a lot) of scripting and AVSitter knowledge if you are trying to do anything a little complex that exceeds 10 menu items (the 11th spot can be enabled if you remove the back button). Easy to understand instructions and I was up in running is a very short time. Great Work!
Everything you need for Avsitter!
It's all in this single script! Ability to change texture, bump and specular textures with easy to use notecard loader. All you do is add your UUID's to the notecards in texture, bump & spec order along with face selection number and object name - and that's it - Add as many as you want. Change inside the script to toggle avsitter enabled on or off - All clearly documented & easy to use. Why bother with confusing and bothersome scripts elsewhere? Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
Kyle & myself engaged during the making of this script and He is a lovely guy - very helpful. I kinda feel sad he is letting this go very cheap - that's how nice he is. x
