Updated! 2021 updates done and re-deliveries have been sent out. Updates to radio, lighting and a few scripts have been put on a diet :)

Craving some vintage, 80's style living? Then this feature rich skybox is just what you're looking for. The 80's Skybox is compact living at it's finest. Modelled on a 1980's basement bedroom, you could use this skybox as a home or even as an extension to your current house. The 80's Skybox is a little over 10 metres long, 6 metres wide and just a touch under 4 metres tall. Over 100 animations are included with AVsitter enabled furniture. Included is a teleport system, TV, radio, ambient sound system and lots of scripted extras. 49 LI total (excluding the teleport system).

The Urban Edition has the outside of the skybox decorated with bricks & a few graffiti tags.

AVsitter Features

**Since this is a linked build, each sitter has their own prim for the bed & sofa. Rather than clicking the main part of the furniture and sitting, hover over the seat/mattress and you'll notice a sit target (little icon of a chair) will appear. Use these sit targets to sit on the sofa & bed to avoid issues.**

The 80's Bed - A touch creaky, the mattress on this bed has seen better days. Perhaps that's why you got it for your basement bedroom? There's room for two on here, but it's a bit of a squeeze. All the cosier! There are 3 main menus in the bed - Rest, Awake & Activities. Both Rest & Awake has 3 gender based submenus - Feminine, Masculine & Neutral. There are 59 animations and lots of props in the bed. Touch the middle pillow to bring up the AVsitter menu whilst seated.

The 80's Sofa - Preloved sofa, which is still comfy nevertheless. Room for 2 sitters on this sofa, with 5 menus - Feminine, Masculine, Neutral, Couch Hog & Activities. Note that Couch Hog means couch hog. You basically hog the entire sofa with this menu. There are 50 animations and various props inside the sofa.

The 80's Home Computer - Wow! You have one! You must be mad rich! Desk, chair and old school home computer set up. Simple with 2 animations & 2 props. 1 sitter only. AVsitter controller is inside the chair.

The 80's Stereo System - Get your dancing shoes on and throw some shapes. Click on the stereo speaker placed above the bookcase to start dancing. 8 dances included and room for only one dancer.

Scripted Extras

The 80's Record Deck - Working land radio using my Wow! radio system. 9 pages of channels to choose from.

The 80's TV - Working land TV with sound on touch. Click the screen once to enable media in the TV and again to start browsing the internet. Right click and touch will turn the TV off.

Vintage Clock Radio - Working clock, which you can set the time on. Touch the clock face to change the time. Ack you cannot get a radio signal on this old clunker now! Touch the top face of the radio for radio static sound (looped).

The 80's Home Computer - Touch the screen on the monitor to change textures. The game images play a short video game tune once (not looped).

Game System - Touch the main console to get a looped game tune.

The 80's Atmos System - Touch the ceiling to bring up the menu. There are 5 different looped sounds to choose from - Room, Distant TV, Fan, City or Rain. There is also a button for silence, which will turn the ambient sound system off.

Lights work and cupboards open. Please see included notecard for lighting details.

Teleport System - Included are Bamboo (plant pot with bamboo and teleport scripts), Rug (patterned welcome mat with teleport scripts) and Rock (garden rock with teleport scripts). Rug & Rock are 1 LI each whilst Bamboo is 3 LI.

Editing!!
Take care editing this skybox. Doing so may offset AVsitter animations. Linking or unlinking anything in this skybox requires a script reset afterwards. If you don't reset the scripts after editing, the skybox will cry. Be very careful with unlinking parts! If it's attached to anything AVsitter enabled - leave it alone or you will break things.

I hope you love skulking about in your new basement bedroom skybox and don't forget to leave a review!
