The JUGGERNAUT Capital Class Carrier / Battle Ship

Originally this craft was designed to be a large fleet carrier called the Jupiter, enabling non warp capable ships a way to gain access to remote systems. At that time it was only scheduled to have a minor missile system on board, for short range defence. During the construction of the first prototype a new reactor technology was captured from a hostile alien race known as the Velkot. The Velkots, well known for their plasma tech, had significantly more powerful methods for generating power than the Terran military forces at the time. The military forces issued a rush order to retrofit the Jupiter to include add the new generators. Of course with the excessive power and excessive space of the ship made a wide array high power ordinance available. 14 new batteries were loaded on as well as a massive shield projection system. What was once a simple carrier was turned into an incredibly powerful war ship. It was at this time that it was renamed "the Juggernaut" and reclassified as a multipurpose war ship rather than a support craft. To date it is one of the most aggressive and well armed capital class star ships and has become popular among the military forces of many sector dukes to use as a staging platform for long range fighter patrols.

Armaments:
8 Batteries of Basilisk Twin Blast Cannons.
4 gunner vantage points (each gunner can control 1 or 2 batteries).
Some have described this as the best ship cannon in SL
4500m range, none block able, 100%ll Damage.


4 Forward Batteries of Velkot Plasma Launchers.
Flash explosion upon impact, fatal in a 40m radius. 100%ll damage


1 Gravimetric Pulsar Device.
Effectively a Death Ray . Will flash fry anything forward of the craft.


1 Dorsal Laz Tower.
Comprising of 2 Kazat Military Grade Phalanx Lasers
Primarily designed to shoot down small boarding craft, missiles and Troopers which attempt to board.

Operation of all of the above turrets:
1)Use alt cam to pan over and touch all the turrets you want to control.
2)Go into mouse look and start blasting.
3)When you are finished touch the turret again to release controls.
NOTE: This feature will work for anyone, so your crew can have fun too.

6 Batteries of Swarm Drone Missile Launchers.
This will lock onto AVs and track them with a seeking missile.
Generally they are used in tandem and they can be set to blind fire mode, allowing them to launch at all aggressors whether targeted or not.
The cluster will pound anything that gets inside the range of 96m making it an effective point defense system.

Other Noteworthy systems:
Massive Shield: Can cover everything out to 200m surrounding the craft in a large animated energy field.
It will stop all AV's, Vehicles, and Physical Prims from entry. However the twin blast cannons and Gravimetric Pulsar are able to fire through it due to the special nature of their operation.

Internal Alarm: Flashing Red Alert particles throughout the whole ship.
Plus many loud sirens to alert anyone on board of a pending danger.

Elevator System: touch the buttons to transport up or down levels.

Self Destruct: When you are finished with the ship type in the destruction command from the bridge. The alarm will sound for 10seconds and then the whole ship will detonate. (sim friendly)

Detailed Bridge:
The bridge is furnished with sculpted chairs and computer terminals are detailed with many animated textures screens. The central navigation terminal is touch sensitive and will display several different star systems.
Also the soft ambient computer sounds and the hum of the central computer give the bridge create a very believable star ship experience.

Yws it is big but it is not worth the price, the rooms are very small, no movement scripts, the weapons are very limited, you can only shoot what you can see out of a small front window otherwise you cannot shoot at anything. the missles are the only plus to the whole thing but the downside to them is you have to type channel commands for them to work and for a slow typer like me it takes too long to be effective. Overall i would say save your money and get something better. If i could have given no stars, i would have.
