Inspired by the puzzle boxes from Asia and Europe, this mysterious looking box is sure to delight the most curious.

Dark woods and intricate warm designs entice the owner to touch it.. as your fingers trace over the designs, you feel a section move beneath your touch. You hear a click and watch as the puzzle begins to unfold. Each step opening the box a little bit more until finally, you touch the lid and it opens revealing a charming "prize". But touch the wrong area of the box, and the box snaps shut. Each movement is accompanied by open chat description, telling a story. This is a 19 step puzzle box, meaning it requires 19 steps to open it.

Comprised of 17 separate pieces, but only a prim equivalency of 7, this box is an intriguing conversational piece. Perfect as a gift, a keepsake, a small diversion for yourself or someone you care about. The prize is a custom object, but you must open the box to find out what it is.

To add to ambience, randomly between 5 and 10 minutes, a small subtle mist will emanate from box.. accompanied by creepy whispers. Sound/Particle effects can be turned on/off by the owner of the box by typing /50 on or /50 off.

Solution is available upon request.

Puzzles always work great to stimulate the mind. We need a lot more in second life, but this works great.

Set aside some time...

First the good: This box is very attractive, even if you don't touch it-it's a nice box. Of course, you have to touch it; you will really really want to. The box is very responsive with appropriate sounds and effects. The added touches set this apart from other boxes. (by other boxes I mean the non-Capalini boxes...I think all the Capalini's have extra bits of polish-love the whispers and descriptions)
The Bad (which isn't): I say bad only because I couldn't stop fiddling with this box. Before you start this one you will want to get other Capalini boxes. This is a more advanced box, and you'll want all the training you can get. A newcomer can do this, all the moves are logical and would work on a real world puzzle box; but I definitely got a better sense of confidence after tackling the other boxes first.

Overall: If you can't tell, I adore puzzle boxes RL and SL. They are art and engineering combined. I will keep looking, but this is quite honestly the best box of it's type that I have found in a few years of looking.
