TREES! I wanted a forest, to blanket the land with them, but the low-prim/alpha texture trees out there were just not working, and the sculpted ones out there, though gorgeous to look at, often had more prims than I could use. As a result, i present this alternative to those who, like me, have had a desire to do more with less. These are sculpted, but very low prim. This is the entire collection. You can view this collection on 3 sims at RUNE. The items in this set are also available in smaller packs here on Xstreet SL.

The TREES are NM/C/NT, the underbrush items are M/C/NT

This collection features:

• 5 different sculpted tree types (Light, Dark, Dead, Burned and Weeping) in various sizes.
• 3 sculpted tree stumps
• 2 deadfall trees
• 5 different sculpted underbrush types (leafy, fluffy grass, thin grass, ferns, stems/twigs)

The sculpted primitives and most of the textures in these items are original works, having been hand painted without the use of photographic inclusion. Please respect the effort involved in the making of these items and use them only in the manner described in the purchasing agreement. Theft is killing the content of SL, not just the businesses of those who work hard to make it.

Still the Best

I first saw these trees around 3 years ago when a sim where I helped out put them in. They looked great. Recently I've been helping set up a new sim and we wanted pine trees. I knew about these, but wanted to see what else was available. Surely somebody else had created some that would offer some competition.

I spent the better part of an afternoon going around to see the creations of just about anyone offering pines. Most were old school crappy intersecting panel type trees. A few looked really good from a distance and alpha glitched so badly close up they were unusable. I found one other maker with something decent looking, but they were close to these in price, didn't look as good, offer as much variety, or come with the ground cover.

I bought these and am very happy with them. They look wonderful whether just one or two here and there or as a forest as I'm using them. They aren't the least expensive pines on the market and wouldn't make sense if you just wanted one or two trees. If you need a real pine grove or even a forest though these are still the best.
