Trivia Event Hosting HUD Version 2.2

Hosting a trivia event can keep you busy ... trying to copy and paste the text of each question, giving everyone a "countdown" to the next question, and watching for someone to give the right answer. Having a HUD that helps to automate the process makes events much easier to manage ... and that is what the Trivia Event Hosting HUD will do for you.

Using this HUD, you can load a notecard containing your questions (up to 30 at a time). You can preview each question. When you are ready to ask a question, you simply click a button on the HUD ... it will give everyone a countdown, then display the question. When someone answers correctly, another click and you send a customizable message telling everyone to stop typing their answers.

If you would like, you can set a timer with each question ... it automatically starts when the question is asked, and it announces to everyone when time has expired. You can rez the included timer display, which will let everyone see how much time is remaining. Your timer display will automatically synchronize with your HUD when it is rezzed.

Finally, you can ask the HUD to watch local chat for correct answers. There are two modes for this. in one version, the HUD will tell you when correct answers are offered ... helping you spot them. This is ideal if you are going to reward multiple correct answers on a question (like prizes for the first two respondents). The second mode will stop the timer and let everyone know when the first correct answer is heard.

The HUD also doubles as a "host microphone," so that it can deliver any message you type. That means that all of your text -- whether the prepared questions or normal chat -- can be delivered in the same way.

- Choose from among 5 colors for the highlight on which question is selected.
- Menu-driven options, including the ability to rename your HUD and set the messages.

This HUD does *NOT* come pre-loaded with questions. You will supply your own questions on notecards which are loaded into the HUD.

The HUD is copy + mod (so you can load your notecards) and contains 34 prims. The timer display is copy and contains 4 prims.
