I tried to find hammer animations with permissions. Couldn't find anything that satisfied me. So here I am uploading what I created to suit that need. You may use these for whatever so long as you don't redistribute them or resell them without first flagging them as no copy or no mod. If you resell them they must be part of a larger work, such as a weapon.
The default animations pause at the end in an attempt to convey some heft to the swing. Some people did not like this, so as of version 1.2 include a folder that has the trailing pause removed.
Contents:
Left to right swing.
Overhead Swing
Leaping uppercut swing
Haft Jab
Right to left swing
Block
Hammer held over head bouncing up and down
Hammer held over head and still
Hammer over shoulder
Walking with hammer over shoulder
- Full perms
- 4 swings and a half jab
- 2 idle stances
- Block
- walking
Holding my hammer as a prop looks better than this
I was expecting a little more for the price and I can't really use these. The reviewer who said the animations were not fluid and look strange is right.
Very choppy and fast.
Great hammer animations.
These work perfect for my hammer fight animations. There are actually 16 total animations in this package! 4 are no pause versions of the originals which are nice. The pause ones look the best but in some stuff it's good to not have the pause. I use both! Before I found this I tried some axe fighting animations which actually cost more, and these are much better for large hammers. Belliora, if you want to make more I would like you to make me some squish animations for when I get hit. Perhaps a partial squish for the first hit and flattened on the second hit.. HAHAHA. It would be a useful addition to your hammer collection. Thanks for the good work!
Decent.
The animations are decent,
I purchased them solely for the walk animation for my two handed sword, sady the walk animation doesn't fit the more fluent animations I have for the attacks.
But I do plan on making other weapons, and these animations fit well.
Soome animations look like they are sped up a bit too much, as if breathing intencely but unnaturaly. But overall I think these animations (price is debate-able) could fit in anyone's weapon making kit.
Decent.
The Animations are Decent. I wish they didn't have the split second pause after every animation though. They arn't amazing, but they are still unique, and usable.
