Updated for v1.14
This is the Avatar 2.0 texture applier. If you are a creator of texture mods, this thing will allow you to publish your mods without having to give out the actual textures or UUID so your mods wont be passed around.
dumb
do not buy on the account you want to make your appliers for, sadly utilizator does not know how to make a normal applier and wants you to get an alt to make it work
Great Idea, Not The Best Execution.
I was thrilled to see that Utilizator had created an applier script, as I am working on a mod for the Avatar 2.0. So eagerly, I bought this and plunked it down. I've worked with other appliers like LUSH, SLink Loud Mouth and expected an easy ride.
However, I was wrong. D:
The largest problem I've run into with this script is that you CANNOT test the applier on yourself (unlike the other appliers I've worked with.). You are merely given the owner prompt no matter what, so you have no idea if the applier works or not.
How are you supposed to double check that you've correct put the UUID for the right applier? You are given a text log in local about the UIDD you've placed in and what it is but you have to reopen your texture or keep a little cheat-sheet to make sure it's the right. Or have an alt or friend that has the Avatar 2.0 that can test it for you.
I love the fact you can apply multiple textures to a single applier, (1 full body, 2 half bodies, 1 lashes) but you cannot apply more than one of each to one object that has one script it in nor can you change the name of what it is called on the menu.
It's really geared if you want to make a multiple texture applier for one certain body style (for example, you have a single brow style/color and body style but have made an eyelash texture to go with it or tattoos.) So if that's what you are looking for then this applier is for you.
However, those who want to give their customers many face/body options... this applier is not for you, it can and will get confusing unless you are keeping notes of what UIDD is what while you work. If you have confidence in putting your UUIDs or have a friend that also has the Avatar 2.0, then you should be okay.
I wish I could give this a 5-star review, but I can't. I love the can/textures it comes with and the idea, just the script is lacking. I'm hoping for an update that will allow owner of this applier to test the appliers on themselves, so for now 3-stars. D:
