The big secret in Second Life is that Facelights and Body Lights make you look better. Believe me. I've been involved in SL for years - and there's no doubt about it. They bring out the best in you.

Think about it. You've spent hard earned Lindens and a generous amount of time getting just the right look, but in many lighting conditions, your face will blend into the background. Why waste those lindens? A properly designed Facelight brings your face out of the shadows It works no matter whether you are in a dim lighted club - or standing outside in the sunlight.

The package includes three different types of Facelights and three different body lights. Many of the "free" facelights floating around Second Life are bothersome, casting a harsh light on nearby avatars. They've given Facelights a bad name.

But these lights are different. The Facelights and Body Lights in this package have been carefully designed so they won't bother or impair the Second Life experience for others. In fact, other avatars probably won't even notice that you are wearing a Facelight!

The lights in the package use Second Life's newest "projector" lighting system which directs the light toward the avatar. The older point light system sends light in all directions, often shinning on nearby avatars.

Included in the package, is a full featured HUD which allows you make adjustments to any of the enclosed face and body lights. The HUD has a color palette providing you with hundreds of color options for your lights. You can adjust the brightness of the light, the distance it projects, the focus, and other settings. When you get a face or body light adjusted just right, you can save settings and re-use them later.

It comes with three "pre-sets" including: lighting for clubs, lighting for the evening or dark venues, and day lighting. The pre-sets have been extensively tested and make easy to get just the right lighting on your face. If desired, you can customize the pre-sets.

You have everything you need for perfect facelight illumination, but there's even more. It also includes a series of lights for photography.

Lighting is everything in photography, particularly when photographing avatars, and the various body lights found in the package can provide the means to make your subject really stand out.

The included body lights can be used alone or with other lighting options. For example, if used in combination with spotlights, they can augment the spotlights, highlighting the body in ways spotlights can't. Or, if used along with the various personal lighting options now available in Second Life, it can aid in obtaining the right fabric color or skin hue.

Of course, the lights need to be transferable if you are to use them with your photographic subjects. As mentioned above, all face and body lights in the package are transferable. (A script keeps the subjects from transferring them, but you can transfer the lights to as many subjects as you need.)
