========
Quick Start:
========
1/ Rez the UPS sphere in the desired location (drag it from your inventory to the ground);
2/ Touch the UPS to activate;
3/ Sit back a let the UPS initialise and calibrate to it’s current SIM and Parcel location;
4/ Done ! (for Remote Sim monitoring read on !)

==========================
Running Modes - Local and Remote:
==========================
Each UPS can monitor either a Local or a Remote Sim. Once rezzed and activated it will commence running in the default 'Local' mode - which is monitoring the current location for Parcel and Sim performance indicators.

Local and Remote performance displays vary slightly in two areas:
– Remote Sim monitoring only allows "Summary" performance views but includes live Sim status reporting (if the Sim is "Stopping", "Down", "Starting" or "Crashed");
– The UPS sphere colours indicate Time Dilation performance in the case of Local monitoring and show Sim Status for Remote monitoring.

============
Viewing Options:
============
Once activated the UPS has four different display views:
1/ "Summary" - The UPS will initially be in “Summary” view. This is the default and recommended for everyday use as it is extremely ‘Sim friendly’ and gives you, at a glance, everything you need to know about how the Sim is performing.
2/ and 3/ "SIM" and "Parcel" - These views provide more detailed information about SIM and Parcel behaviour and give you the opportunity to view, more closely, specific performance issues that may be impacting your pleasurable experience of Second Life.
4/ "Radar-SIM" or "Radar-Parcel" - These provide a 3D representation of avatars currently on SIM or Parcel, and shown as coloured spheres. Displayed information can be toggled and includes current avatar action, distance,
age, time on SIM (since the radar was activated), worn and active scripts, amount of
SIM CPU time (in milliseconds) used by those scripts, and allocated memory (in megabytes).

NEW:
Avatar Sphere Colours:
----------------------------
The colour of an avatars sphere in the "Radar" mode provides a quick reference as to how laggy an avatar may be. Many factors will effect SIM performance but avatar lag is generally accepted as being high on the list.
To best indicate an avatars potential impact on SIM performance we have specifically designed an algorithm that takes into consideration 3 factors in determining this impact. The number of active scripts, allocated memory for scripts and, most importantly, the amount of SIM server CPU time taken by those scripts are all used to obtain a 'weight' which determines the colour of each avatar sphere.

Best to worst lag indicator:
Green = excellent
Yellow = pretty good
Orange = room for improvement
Red = potentially laggy
Black = potentially VERY laggy
