I can find no flaw! Well, except this omission from the README: "TURN OFF YOUR ANKLE-LOCK"
This is so important to know, it nearly cost Monty a customer, then an unhappy customer, then a less than 5-star review... if you Ankle-Lock is on the product will appear flawed... it is not flawed!
Others have commented in their reviews that the attach-point of Left Foot is the flaw, and that attaching to chest or avatar center is the fix (I tried these and while it "corrected" the issue it removed some realism. Don't change the attachment point. Just turn off your Ankle-Lock.
The reason your left ankle is the attach point is because the cleverly done animations uses the left ankle to cause the otherwise (unrealistically) static bass, to move a small amount as it's played. Not enough to move it out of your hands, just tiny movements... very realistic.
I'd buy this again in a NY minute and I recommend it highly. I play in RL and SL and I own Monty's flute and sax (both also perfect, but not reviewed as I purchased them in-world.
There are a few basses in SL, do yourself a favor and get this one. The price is very appropriate for the effort afforded to achieve this level of quality.
Great animations
Killer upright anyone can play. I have it and 4 other Le Mont basses on my concert stage. They all look great and anyone can play all of them. Buy them all. I bought all the sit and play guitars too. my fave... The freagin maracas.

Busetto corners - sweet!
Elmontess is someone who knows his doublebasses :) Animations are great, the only quibble i have is the auto-attach point - left foot, nah that doesn't work at all. Re-attach to the chest, tinker with positioning and you are good to go.
Superb SL instrument
This bass is thought through from start to finish. It looks exactly like in the photo, and the animations are just great. Very nice!
