This is a mod kit for any modifiable boats. Included is a script that will give your boat a natural rocking motion (and subtle sound effect to match) when moored up (no physical). Soon as you start moving (go physical) this behavior will auto-disable so not to interfere with normal operation.
Another good feature about this mod kit is that you can set different rocking motion amounts per region via the config notecard. For example stopping in the middle of the Blake Sea can give rough rocking motion and some isolated marina more smooth / calm. This is all automatic once set in the notecard :)
This product will receive lifetime updates for free via Caspervend.
NOTE: This mod is for modifiable boats, i.e. boats with mod perms so you can put this script and config notecard inside.

waiting a reply from creator
I was at the first moment so happy with this script, and so excited to see my boats alive when moored. The script is perfectly working and amazing since you can set in the notecard the amount of swing for each SIM in SL! Astonishing!
BUT: the only issue I'm facing is that once you install the script into your boat, she lose 100% her normal sounds when sailing/driving. Yes: sailing sounds and motor sounds disappear, and this is very bad!
I wrote to creator following his instructions, asking for help in fixing this issue, and still waiting for a reply. I admit it's still early to expect a reply, but in case of no reply, I have already done this review advising everyone about the sounds matters (the only matter this script have).
Drag and Drop
The readme notecard says to drag all contents (Boat Rocking Script, Float Rocking Config Notecard) into your boat's contents and it will automatically work while the boat is in the moored state.
Worked perfectly with my Bandit 60. Seemed very easy to do - drag and drop. I made this purchase in Jan 2020, so I'm not sure if the seller amended his old product, but this current product seems to work flawlessly.
Very disappointing, poor instructions, no support, doesn't work.
The instructions only tell you to place the script on the master prim, there's not troubleshooting or anything else. After very long time invested trying to make it work I decided to contact the merchant, I sent notecards, IMs and never got answer.
Instructions would be nice
Well, it works, once you figure it out. I added it to a mesh houseboat build I'm working on.
It did not work initially. The houseboat was a low prim single object mesh.
I read all the reviews under Vetron's full perms boat rocking script, and someone said the boat needs to be more than one object linked, so I started adding boxes and linking them until I finally got it to work.
I also changed the config notecard to include my estate, and I added a boat script that I pirated from a freebee boat, so I'm not sure exactly what triggered the script to work.
At any rate, my boat is now rocking, so I'm happy.
Please, just a short instruction notecard would save your customers a lot of grief.
