[Vetron] Propeller Builders Kit Version 1.0

██► INTRODUCTION

When I searched for propeller kit previously I found most of the ones didn't function exactly as I would want a propeller to. A lot of the propellers listed on marketplace are separate parts (usually sculpts) which makes things difficult. Also I've even seen some that couldn't be physical and even more alarming I saw propellers for sale that wouldn't actually work as you'd want a propeller to (they wouldn't even rotate...:S). So I decided to make my own :)

Included in this pack is three propeller variants; a 2-blade, 3-blade and 4-blade. This propeller features a central cylinder part, which ensures that it's centralized (so it will actually rotate as you would want it to :D), but can also be used as textureable face so you can set the blades transparent and switch to a texture mode only to represent high speed prop movement. Before mesh the typical setup would be a form of sculpt-map change, with this propeller you can just set pieces transparent for high or low speed. Each propeller has a land impact of 1.

Included is an update-card, powered by hippoUPDATE so any changes that get made to this product over time you will get for free.

Please take my advice and do not purchase any propeller from the marketplace without seeing the item fully functioning in world first - I offer mine on display in my in-world store, rotating as it should :)

██► QUICK START

1. Unpack and rez a Propeller
Move the contents of your received propeller builders kit package to your inventory, depending on where you purchased this item you may be required to unpack the item first. Once you have done this, simply rez a propeller variant in world.

2. Customize and then apply to your build!
Please note that if you want the propeller to rotate, ensure it has a stable rotation; i.e. if you want it to function as a propeller, ensure it is either flat or at 90* angles. You can of course link to other objects and use local rotation scripting. Essentially, if you encounter an issue where it seems to rotate in a weird way or not as you want it to then check your rotation values either on the propeller itself or in your script.
Another issue I've seen people have is where sometimes your plane may float off the ground... in such case check the propeller height placement, you do of course need a full circle of room for it to spin of course, so check that :D
