//New version// april 2012
The vintage phone was rebuilt in mesh and cost only 3 prims now (minimum)
I made new HQ textures and I scripted the phone's parts with 3 sounds: dial, ring, busy tone.
The price was raised to 10 L$ due to the time I spent on it.

I designed this vintage black phone for one of my 3D build. (a white version is inclued)

I handmade one complex 3D texture (all parts in one texture) for a faster rezzing

You will appreciate the nice details :) / 14 prims only ( with shadow and thread )

Click on the phone, it will ring (antique ring)
Click on the dial numbers, you will hear the dial digital sound

Not bad but becomes no copy once rezzed

This looks "okay" for a rotary phone. Not great, but not horrible. The most annoying part is that once rezzed, it becomes no copy, so you can't link it in a build without making the entire build no copy.

I love the look of the phone and you just can't beat the price. The only problem is that it is white until you get close enough to the phone to see it even at an LOD of 4.0.

And the "HQ Textures" .... $1L is about right. It looks like it's made of stone, and it's so dark there is no detail, it's just a black mass with a dial on the front. But for $1L it make a fine decoration on a shelf, where it's not the center of attention.
