Thank you for your interest in the Virtual Decay Traffic Lights System.
This is the only traffic lights system you will ever need to own!
- It is fully functional and works Sim wide.
- It can be used “networked” or stand alone.
- It is low prim and extremely low lag.
- Has more texture options that you will probably ever need.
- Uses only custom sculpts, custom textures and is custom scripted.
- Comes in 5 Pole options and one wallmounted version.
- Statistics
Permissions: Modify / Copy on the prims, Copy only on the scripts
Prim use : Poles A, A1 & SA use 6 prims, B & C use 5 prims and D takes up 10 prims
Textures : all textures are custom made and mapped where possible. maximum texture size is 512 x512
Script Memory Usage: Each traffic light uses about 0.003 to 0.005 Ms. (depending on conditions)
This network, no matter how many lights there are in no matter how many networks,
uses the absolute possible minimum for any script that was ever written for SL functionality.
- Customization -
Allthough the traffic lights are modifyable, unlinking them or changing the root prim can break the lights.
Allways select the traffic lights last to keep them the root prim when linking objects to the lights.
There are two area’s of the traffic lights that can be customized, the light body and the lower part of the pole.
The body has 10 different options, from “clean” to rusted, dirty and covered with stickers”, the poles have 6 options,
“clean” and then 6 different sticker layouts. Making unique lights all through your sim has never been so easy!

Excellent! But a couple extras could help too!
This is absolutely essential for people setting up a sim with streets. Especially a Role-Play type of sim. The ability to choose between textures also makes these lights absolutely amazing, and the texture variety has varying levels of grunge on them, from clean to downright funky.
The only thing i'd personally like to see is the ability to get some variable toggles in there for things such as 3 way intersection turns. Some cross walk signs would have also been amazing, but this is NOT a complaint at all. Just some insightful critique. To be plainly honest, these lights are just amazing. The builder's claims about low lag are not hype, either. They're absolutely wonderful in terms of latency.
Well deserving of every star of this review.
