SCANNING
- Capture range: Find users within a certain radius. (up to 96 meters)
- Owner Mode: to scan just the same parcel as the unit is. (you need to be land owner)
SERVICES
- Customize your welcome message including name of visitor if you wish.
- Give landmarks, notecards, objects and invite groups to your visitors.
- Antispam: Your visitors do not receive messages or things more than once a day.
- Visitor alert: If you want it can sends to you an alert message each time when arrive a new visitor.
- Ignore list: If you have employees or other people you do not want to send messages and stuff, you can configure it.
- Visitors list: It will store the names of the last 100 visitors each day.

It only greets someone once in a while. It doesn't seem to register that I click on it when i try to adjust the settings. very disappointing!
does what it says but with annoying issue
the greeter works just fine and does what it says it does, the problem is , you can not rename the greeter item and it welcomes everyone with the default greeter name , you can not change this to your place name or parcel name, so if you have multiple greeters on the same sim the notifications it sends to you when a visitor is detected are all called the same thing so you dont know at which place your greeting who, i know its only 5 lindens but id prefer to be able to name the greeter for each place and without that its useless to me , other than that it does what it says , if the name could be changed on the greeter object i would have given this 5 stars , forcing the name of the item on people and having a marketplace link in the item description is just a form of advertising so we are paying to advertise the creators items ,, if someone wants to know who made it they can just edit on it and find the creator

I don't understand why mentions the name of the object into the welcome message. It was not for free.
Occasionally
i bought 3 for different places... 2 of them function just fine and are wonderful greeters, they notify me of visitors etc but 1 of them seems to be a dud... i set it the same manner as the others and everyting but it just refuses to do anything... i reset the script, tried again....tried re-rezzing..nothing... 2 out of 3 isnt bad...just no idea why the 3rd one isnt working loll maybe it's moody :P
