Volleyball Game (Fun Size) Version Beach Volleyball Game

Playable volleyball game for two, three, or four or more players. Click the court surface on your side of the net to receive a ball hitter. Attach the hitter to your avatar's chest. Click the net to serve the ball.

Maneuver your avatar to intercept the ball. When the ball is close to you, your avatar will automatically hit the ball over the net.

To practice, click the court on your side of the net and select practice from the menu. In practice mode, scoring is not active and the ball will bounce off the court surface.

There are also bots to practice against. Click Practice Bot on the menu to practice against a bot. In the include Bot version, a physical bot is rezzed (see the last image) in the shape of a disk. Each bot takes up one 1 land impact. So if you rezz a bot on each side of the court, the total land impact is 13, including the volleyball.

If you miss the ball, click the net again. The ball de-rezzes and another ball is served to you. There is no need to chase a lost ball as each ball includes a lost die function to automatically delete lost balls after about five minutes.

More than two people can play. The limit is the size of your court. You may resize the game. However, the net is mesh and if you resize it larger, it may increase land impact.

As shown in the images, the game fits in a space 6.3 meters x 12.6 meters. It will fit in a space behind a houseboat in Bellisseria. With the volleyball rezzed, the land impact is 11, and 10 without the volleyball.The sand base is optional. If you wish to use it, it is an additional 1 land impact. If your parcel is short on object space, a 4 land impact version is included (5 land impact with the ball rezzed). If your parcel has room for more objects, use the bot version which takes up 13 land impact with both bots and a volleyball rezzed.

The game is copy and mod, but there are some scripts that are no-mod, hence it will show in your inventory as no-mod. However, the prims and mesh are mod and you can resize the court and net as you prefer.

Includes options in menu to remove hover text above the net, reset scripts, and select from among three balls as described below:

Ball 1: Yellow, Blue & White

Ball 2: Green, Blue & Orange

Ball 3: Blue & White

Balls 2 and 3 have a little higher gravitational effect, so there is less hang time and the balls do not rise upward as much. Ball 3 has the highest gravitational effect and Ball 2 is between Ball 1 and Ball 3.

There are demos of both the 10 LI and 4 LI versions. The 4 LI demo version only has only Ball 1 and does not provide the option for reset, removal of hover text, size selection for volleyballs, or flash the border red or blue when a team scores. The 10 LI version does not have those limitation, but does not rezz physical bots, but has bots embedded in the court surface.
