WKS Clock Builders Kit Version 2.0

The main reason for creating this product was to give the watch/clock creators in SL a universal script which requires significantly less system resources than most of the currently used clock scripts. There is only ONE running script in the whole clock!! (+1 if you use the texture changer, +1 if you use a pendulum)

After setup the main script can...
- rotate the hour, minute and second hands
- rotate the weekday, day of month, AM/PM display
- rotate the additional hour, minute and second hands of a stopwatch
- resize the clock (entire linkset) within a configured range
- play sounds for ticktock, quarter and hour strike (quarter and hour strikes can be a sound sequence = longer 10 seconds)
- show the time in digital format (09:32) on a 1 prim display
- rez a pendulum
- handle a demo period
- offers a menu to the current owner for...
-- setting the timezone
-- switching on/off the daylight saving time
-- stretching/shrinking the clock
-- operating the stopwatch (start, interim time, stop, reset)
-- selecting the sounds
-- setting the volume of the sounds
-- changing the design (texture/color)
-- grant permission for public menu access

You don't need any scripting skills, because all settings are defined via a notecard! A setup script will read and check the notecard content. If all is ok, the notecard and setup script will be automatically removed.

The setup script is also very helpful, if you like to setup a texture change menu, because it reports a line with all configurable parameters(textureChangeID | linkNumber | face(-1=all faces) | TextureUUID | repeats | offset | rotation[degrees] | color | alpha) when you click on any face of the linkset.

You just have to copy and paste it to the configuration notecard.
You can configure the button texts and the menu texts (shown at beginning of dialog menu). Sub menues are also possible. Finally one menu button can change the textures/colors of several faces of several prims of the linkset (and of the optionally pendulum!).
It's also possible to setup a button(s), that will trigger an action in a non WKS script.
In case you want to use your own dialog script, the dialog of the main script can be disabled.

All rotating objects can only rotate around one of its axes (x,y or z = green, red or blue arrow in edit mode).
Not only the axis can be configured, also the number of sectors can be set. So it's very easy to use the script for an existing clock with existing textures - the script adapts to your clock and not vice versa!

This package also includes a pendulum template(full perm) and a pendulum script(copy,trans). Swinging plane, period, amplitude and pivot can be set.
The pendulum will follow the position and the size of the clock!
The Pendulum can be a single prim or a linkset.
The script requires a clock with the main script in it.

All scripts are copy,trans, no mod.
Additonal restrictions:
- only runs in the root prim of the clock
- you must be the creator of the root prim
- the permissions for next user must be set to "copy, no trans" or "trans, no copy"
- this package only includes the license for personal use. If you want to sell the clock, you have to purchase a seller license (see related items)

You only have permission to use these textures and sound uuids in your product! Do not give it as texture or as uuid to others!!
