WW2 Luftwaffe Hangar
This hangar was modeled after the style of the hangers shown at the Luftwaffe airdrome in the movie ”Red Tails”. What impressed me about the setting of Red Tails is the stark contrast between the airports of the opposing forces. The Tuskegee airmen lived in tents, took off from a temporary airfield that had canvas quonset huts, tent hangers, a wooden control tower and a Marsden Matting runway. The Germans had a futuristic looking airdrome, with concrete and steel hangers, concrete runways and an awesome looking control tower.
Now, you too can create an authentic looking WW2 airfield with this beautifully styled and textured hanger. The hanger could also be used in a civilian airport setting. It has many exciting features and will enhance your SL aviation fun.
