This scanner can be used for welcoming guests as well as for monitoring a room or sim or a passage or combinations of these.
Several options can be set as you see below under 'Options in the Settingscard'. Also the initial options in the settingscard can be changed by menu's on touch.
This scanner has a build-in memory management (see 'Memory management'). Also you can decide which items can be given to visitors, as you please (see 'Welcome items'). The settings can be set in a settingscard or with the menu of the scanner.
There is an ignorelist in the scanner that gives you control on who should not get welcome messages etc, to avoid spamming of frequent visitors.
Notifications about who entered the monitored area can be sent by IM or e-mail instantly or every x-minutes (eg. once a day). These messages can be sent to the persons you wish (these are set in a notecard).
Menu
The menu-system is extensive and lets you control lists (who is present, who did visit and when), the memory management and the settings/options for the scanner that are also set in the settingscard. Setting the options through the menu is a combination of both dialogboxes (blue at the top right of your screen) and input in the chatline.

The scanner can be configured to give items as a welcome gift to your visitors
Memory management
When the memory runs low, the owner will receive a IM message to remind to clear the lists. When the memory is critically low, the lists are cleared automatically after the lists have been send by IM to the owner.
Options in the Settingscard:
The settings of this scanner are set in a notecard. These settings are the initial settings of the scanner. Changing these initial settings by the menu's will not overwrite the initial settings, but a dump of the settings can be made and pasted easily in the settingscard.
The following options can be set:
- Scan perimeter
- Frequency of scanning
- Making a list of visitors (off/first entry/every entry)
- Send IM's or e-mail of ppl entering to the owner (off/first entry/every entry)
- Giving welcome items
- Chat message on entry
- A link to a website
All these can be set off, on first entry only or at every entry
- Time between sending IM's or e-mail can be set.
- Location of the scanner
- Text and textcolor when scanner is active or idle
