A flexi fabric windsock mounted on a wooden pole. Turns to face SL system wind. Touch to display direction and speed in float text.
There are similar items on the marketplace, this is my attempt built my own. The prims have copy+modify permission, feel free to use and adapt the build to suit your needs. The script is not full permission, but easy enough to recreate with a couple of clues in an included notecard.

Simple, easy to edit, and to show wind stats you only need to click on it. This is indeed an excellent freebie, very useful on my helipad. Thank you!

Great little Freebie!
this is a very nice windsock. It is so much better than the other freebie ones. there is a more texture and realism to it.
