Wingsong 7Seas Fishing Hat Box

I was just talking with one of my favorite friends last night - we're both fisher folk from way back and we began sharing our fishing hats with one another. And I realized I hadn't ever made a REAL fishing hat. So after we had said our goodbyes, I set out to make - well, a REAL fishing hat!

My grandpa, who taught me all I know about fishing, was VERY big on a person having a special fishing hat when they go fishing. Said it was a RELIGION, said it was SACRILIGOUS to go fishing without a special fishing hat. My grandpa was a wise man!

OK - so what FEATURES do we have with our Wingsong Fishing Hat? Let's see:

1 - The hat proper has a fishnet texture with a multicolor engine in it; touch the hat to conjure up a menu with 88 great colors for your convenience.

2 - Ya got a fish skeleton over on the side. But he ain't dead! Course, he was a little FATTER when we found him. We caught him on one of our many fishing outings. We at the Wingsong Dojo have alot of fishing outings. We've even taken to having some of our staff meetings at various fishing holes (including the one at our Wingsong Dojo, which is a 7Seas Fishing Area - see Slurl below).

Anyway, this fish reminds me of a catfish - you just about can't kill a catfish. I once saw a guy clobber a catfish over the head with a hammer, and that puppy STILL kept kicking. The man finally just tossed the catfish back and he swam away - with a headache, I'm sure. I believe he gave that man a gesture of some sort.

And your skeleton fish ain't dead either. See those eyes? They blink/wink. AND they are animated - he looks around a bit. A little nervously, I think. I mean, I myself would be nervous if my skeleton was plastered on the side of someone's hat.

Plus, he's got a rusty hook sticking out of his mouth. And I just KNOW I'd be nervous if I had a rusty hook sticking out of MY mouth!

DON'T PANIC! NO FISH WERE HURT IN THE MAKING OF THIS ITEM! The fish is an ACTOR!

3 - Your hat also has another rusty hook on the other side of the hat. This one is attached to a very pretty flexied rainbow feather.

What's that? You don't LIKE the feather??? Then CHANGE it with your onboard Wingsong Feather Changer! I've preloaded five gorgeous feathers, and installed just a hint of flexi. Click on the feather to access the menu and select the feather of your choice. And in case you don't want a feather at all? Chose the ALPHA button in the menu!

4 - What's a fishing excursion without some beautiful audio? We've made a stereo system for your listening pleasure. Touch your feather's hook for a menu of 6 preloaded sound loops (water, surf, frogs, rain, etc). Your hat also plays ambient nature sounds randomly every 2 to 3 minutes. Touch your fish's hook to toggle this feature on and off.

5 - And finally, I don't know about you but I love fishing in the rain. I think the fish bite better. Yes, I'm sure of it. The skeleton fish was caught in the rain. True story! Touch your skeleton fish to turn a gentle rain on and off.

So - there you have it, folks. Quite possibly the most feature-filled fishing hat in all the kingdom.

My grandpa would be SO proud!
