Wingsong Fishing Pole Pro V3 & Bot Baby Fishing Buddy Box

The Wingsong Fishing Pole Pro V3 is a little bit of a misnomer. Because ya really don’t catch any fish with this pole!

But my grandpa taught me the Tao of Fishing, which was only about 10% catching fish, 50% socializing, and 40% spiritual awakening. Or was it 40% socializing and 50% spiritual awakening? I forget….

Seriously, though – how many times have you been to a gorgeous pond early in the morning, or a beach at sunset, or walking along a bridge that crosses a beautiful river and thought, Man, I wish there were some fishing seats here?

Yeah, me, too!

Well, I had to do something about that!

The Wingsong Fishing Pole Pro V3 is a cane pole made out of authentic Kentucky cane that I gathered personally on the banks of the Green River last fall. Seriously.

Actually, you get 2 poles - they are almost identical, except the animations in the medium one fit folks generally around 7 foot tall and the tall one fits folks around 8 foot tall.

FEATURES

1 - The pole is embedded with a fun set of 8 high quality original Wingsong animations. You carry it anywhere you want to (it attaches by default to your right hand). And when you see a place you want to rest and toss in a line, just sit down and start fishing – either on the ground or anywhere that you can find a seat – rocks, grass, piers, bridges, beaches, wherever! The running animation is a little comical. It also has five standing animations that allow you to fish while standing.

2 - It has ambient frog songs which you can turn on and off by touching the pole.

3 - It has a very realistic fishing line that will move about idly with the wind or, can it be? Nibbling fish?!?

BONUS

Wingsong Bot Baby Fishing Buddy: I cannot emphasize how excellent the Wingsong Bot Baby series is. I've been told more than once that these bot babies are some of my best work ever. I agree.

Each one does something a little different - in this case, well, he fishes with you. He is well animated for liveliness; here are his features:

1 - His eyes wink/blink, and he looks all around at various intervals.

2 - His slightly big ears rotate in various expressive ways from time to time.

3 - His feet and hands move very cute when he walks and runs with you and are static when he stands still.

4 - His single hair follicle is flexied and meticulously engineered to animate naturally. I spent literally an hour making that little do behave JUST right. I don't spend that much time on my REAL do!

5 - He also has a dual audio system. Touch his head to bring up a menu with 17 fun sounds. These include five advanced robotic audio clips as well as a little human like laughter, the standard BORG warning, a little smooching behavior, some squeaks, the Three Stooges standard Hello, a Roadrunner beep-beep, and a sneeze.

Yes. A sneeze. I know. I didn't realize that robots had advanced to the point of being able to sneeze, either. My bot baby tells me it makes him feel more human. We had a long philosophical debate about whether that was existentially advantageous or not.

The basic robot sounds also play automatically and randomly every 3 to 4 minutes. You can toggle this automated system on and off by touching your bot baby's right shoe.

6 - He holds a matching high quality cane pole which functions just like yours.

Yep - we've raised the bar in industry standards of adorability and expressiveness with this little guy.
