Whenever we have a Wingsong Staff Weekend Beach Retreat, several of our mad scientists complain that we have no beach towels. In fact, if you want to know the truth, most of our staff spend most of their time at the retreats sneaking off to the neighbors to sunbathe. I myself have been guilty of doing this many times.
Which explains why we have so many Wingsong Staff Weekend Beach Retreats, and why we get so little work done.
Finally, the janitor suggested that if we made our OWN beach towels perhaps our staff would be more likely to stay at our beach house and we could get a little work done.
So - we made not one but TWO very nice beach towels. And I don't mean just a little rectangular prim with a pretty texture on it neither, nosireeBOB! Our towels are equipped with texture changers featuring authentic beach towel textures (including realistic wrinkles!). We've preinstalled 14 gorgeous beach towels in each towel. You can add your own textures by dragging them from your inventory into the Content Tab of your towel using your Edit Tool (total of 22 textures).
Then we went a step further and embedded the towels with an original Wingsong pose, very fun, very relaxing, and again, realistic!
Did we stop there? We did NOT! We added a SECOND towel that features a beach ball with an audio menu in it. You can select from several nature sounds, including surf, brook, frogs, crickets, and rain. I have no idea why you'd be sunbathing in rain but it's very soothing, and of course, there's no actual rain drops anyway.
Is that all? It is NOT! For a little beach company while you bake we are including a specially configured Wingsong Rubber Duck, prepositioned just for your beach towel enjoyment. Its eyes blink/wink. Touch its head for a little quacking.
Surely that's enough. But NO! We are including our silly little Wingsong Bathing Suit Vintage, a delightful unisex bathing suit that is comfortable, simple, and you won't get sand in your, you know, crack. Cause there is NOTHING worse than driving home in the back seat of a car with vinyl seats and a behind full of gritty sand.
TO USE
1 - REZ your beach towel (2).
2 - Select SIT HERE to lie down.
3 - Click on the towel to change blankets.
4 - Click on the beachball to change sounds or to turn the sound off.
Everything here is COPY/MOD, so make all the copies you want and recolor, redecorate, resize, retexture, reDO to make it fit YOUR specs! I'm even throwing in a FREE Wingsong Modify Box, a simple, easy to use tutorial for folks with little experience in the EDIT tool.

Oh. And I expect you're wondering about the impact these beach towels have had on our Wingsong Staff Member Beach Weekend Retreats? Yeah. We've been loads more productive. We all lie out on our beach towels with our rubber ducks and soak in the sun, and every now and then someone will say, "Hey! I got an idea!" And then we all fall back to sleep.
