Ferd Frederix is one of the great Second Life heroes. Without ever meeting me he has taught me as much as most of my real life college professors. He's a man of great gifts.

One of his gifts was the Cheeter Monkey, a mesh avatar that he provides as open source as a tool to help folks acclimate into the world of mesh. A footnote on his page indicates that the Cheeter Monkey is based on work by Kursad Karatas.

So - I made the Cheeter Monkey, using the mesh provided by these two gentlemen. I don't like to "resell" items I don't make, even when perms are available. Plus, if I include the actual MONKEY it would deprive you of the great fun in making it yourself.

HOWEVER, that said, I did make some fun accessories for the Cheeter Monkey, and thought you might enjoy these as well. Here's what you get (ADD each of these from your inventory):

1 - Wingsong Cheeter Monkey Hat - a great fedora with a multicolor engine. Click on it for an onboard menu of 90 colors.

2 - Wingsong Cheeter Monkey Banana - no bells nor whistles. Cause a monkey DO get HONGRY from time to time.

3 - Wingsong Cheeter Monkey Eye Glasses - again, no bells, no whistles. They'll make you look DISTINGUISHED.

4 - Wingsong Cheeter Monkey Tail - repeat after me: no bells nor whistles. I didn't really care for the tail that is included with the Cheeter Monkey, so I made this one. It has no scripts but it is well flexied.

5 - Wingsong Cheeter Bow Tie - a few bells, a couple of whistles. Click on the tie for a menu of 14 FUN audio clips. Click on the collar of the tie for the same multicolor menu as the hat. So you can be COORDINATED!

6 - Wingsong AO HUD - Cheeter Monkey - we saved the best for last. The little monkey is obviously an off-size and not proportioned like most avatars, so default animations don't fit well. So. I whipped up a special AO system JUST for the Cheeter Monkey!

Disable or remove other Animation Overrides. Turn the Cheeter Monkey AO on and off by clicking the liehgt switch (it will be green when active, and nearly transparent when inactive. The AO proper includes a simple ensemble of 8 original Wingsong animations.

For additional fun we've included an onboard group of adjunct animations. To use these, turn off your AO, click on the Wingsong Logo, and click on any of the 7 additional Wingsong animations. Your monkey self will continue in that animation until you select another animation or STOP.

That's it! Just another fun little toy from the friendly elves at the Wingsong Dojo.

Oh. And if you don't want to put Ferd and Kursad's monkey together yourself but you REALLY want this monkey send me an IM - I'll give you one FREE, and you don't even have to buy this outfit! Yep - no catch. Just another little service from the folks at the dojo!

Everything here is COPY/MOD, so make all the copies you want and recolor, redecorate, resize, retexture, reDO to make it fit YOUR specs!

For questions or a live demonstration of this or any of our fine/fun Wingsong products, IM Kit Ciaco!

Don't be misled by the low cost of our items. We can afford to do this because we create excellent items and provide excellent customer service and support, and we sell ALOT of doodads.

PS - The cat in the picture is my KittyCat Cloe. She's NOT included in this package. She just really likes this avatar. And wearing this avatar puts me down closer to her, which is one of the many reasons I LOVE my Cheeter Monkey avatar and accessories!
