One of my inworld buddies, who plays a child avi, told me the other day he was out killing zombies. He needed some more zombie killing gear.
So we made a few things.
One of the best things we came up with was the Wingsong KID Helmet and Goggles. It's perfect for keeping zombie blood out of your eyeballs and also keeping zombies out of your HEAD, so to speak.
Then some of our staff who wear ADULT sized avatars got all kinds of JEALOUS and demanded to have their own Wingsong Helmet and Goggles. Sure, I explained that the helmet and goggles were COPY/MOD and VERY easy to resize using the EDIT tool. Would they listen? They would NOT. So - under considerable duress and to keep from having to wear my own helmet and goggles all the time to avoid certain injury if I did not comply with their wishes, I made the adult sized version.
Naturally, we're including both of them in this package.
FEATURES and HOW TO USE
1 - ADD your helmet from your inventory.
2 - Besides being a safe and stylist helmet and goggle set, it's very versatile as well. Although it's COPY/MOD, we've installed an onboard texture changer with line command and (let me count) 17 (if I counted correctly) textures.
To change the texture on your helmet type "/159 x" in the local chat window, without quotes and where "x" equals a letter a - q corresponding to a texture. Here are the textures:
a - winter camo (a bit blurry - designed to make the zombies think they're going blind)
b - more camo (also a bit blurry, but I like it alot - you might, too; at our staff meeting we were split right down the middle about whether or not keep this one so we decided to leave it in)
c - flat charcoal
d - flat green
e - snow
f - pink camo
g - rusty metal
h - flat tan
i - more rusty metal
j - olive camo
k - more snow
l - sand
m - more sand
n - sort of a fluid
o - fire (for your inner HOT head - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)
p - flat olive
q - even MORE camo
SO - if you want to change your helmet to, say, snow, you type the following in your local chat window:
/159 e
3 - In our extensive field tests we discovered that some kids like the chin strap and others prefer to have only the side straps. So we installed a little invisibility script. Click on the strap area to toggle its visibility on and off.
Lots of fun to play with it before you go out and whack some zombies! Or get whacked by restless "friends."
