The Mad Scientists at the Wingsong Dojo have been making reading rooms since the first week we got here. The Wingsong Reading Room First Apartment is one of our most detailed, fully featured, and loaded reading rooms!
In this reading room ensemble we celebrate the lean, heady days of our youth when luxury was defined by our small library of second hand books housed on bare bones shelving, having a few comfortable places to sit, a cheap reading lamp, and perhaps a small pet to enjoy the quiet nights of reading.
The chair, rug, and lamp are embedded with menu driven color changers (88 colors each) and the book shelf allows you to select from four preloaded sets of books. I am lousy at math but you can change the looks of your reading room every day for several years without having it identical one day to the next! And for additional decorative options, you can add your own sets of books into the book shelf as well (drag your own texture into the book shelf's content tab - holds up to 22 textures).
The chair, rug, and book shelf are embedded with two excellent multiframed original Wingsong animations. Seriously - they are AWESOME reading animations!

1 - Wingsong Reading Room First Apartment Book Shelf (REZ; 4 prims): Sculptied highly detailed texturing classic board and blocks design. Touch the books for a menu of four different groups of books. Your guests can touch the top blocks to receive several FREE full perm reading items (an old newspaper, Winnie the Pooh, and The Divine Comedy). Sit on top of the shelf with a multiframed original Wingsong animation.
2 - Wingsong Reading Room First Apartment Chair (REZ; 2 prims) and Rug (1 prim): Embedded with two separate multiframed original Wingsong animations. Chair is sculptied, rug is more like a big floor pillow. Both have color changing menu for 88 different colors. VERY comfortable.
3 - Wingsong Reading Room First Apartment Lamp (REZ; 4 prims): Touch base to turn light on and off (illuminates and glows when on). Touch shade and bulb for color changing menu (88 colors).
4 - Wingsong Reading Room Book (WEAR; 3 prims) - Unlike any book on the grid. Touch the cover to change title; has 10 titles preloaded but you can bring in your own titles by dragging your textures into the Content Tab) - holds up to 22 book titles. Please note - the books are not included - only the book covers!
5 - Wingsong Book Worm Shoulder Buddy (WEAR; 12 prims): Adorable book worm with blinking/winking eyes, glasses, and for reasons I just do not know, wearing a cowboy hat. Flexibody.
And a few FREEBIES, of course: An old wore out cardboard box - who among us did not have at least one cardboard box end table at one time? A pair of reading glasses. A cowboy hat that matches the one our book worm shoulder buddy is wearing (I know. Don't ask....).
As a special house warming gift, we're including our FREE Wingsong Mums with Bird Sounds V2. Your mums are planted in a durable half barrel with rich soil and mulch for long life and vibrant colors. It is installed with a great ambient bird audio machine - one of the most soothing I've ever heard on the grid. Includes 10 randomly played bird sounds. This is not like the ambient sound you hear around town - very unique, very relaxing. Touch the barrel to turn the main engine on and off. Five of them also play in the background every few minutes and do not have a switch. Great for ANY home or yard! REZ out the mums box and OPEN AND COPY TO INVENTORY separately.
