Wingsong Rezzer: Bicycle Cruiser RIDE V3 Box

The Wingsong Rezzer: Bicycle Cruiser RIDE V3 is a great way to draw visitors to your estate, whether you have a small slither of land or a huge collection of sims. It costs just 2 prims to set out, the bikes do NOT count against your land impact limits, it's loads of fun, and people will return time and again for their free ride on one of the best driving vehicles on the grid.

You get 2 rezzers:

1 - The AUTOMATIC version rezzes a temporary bike out every minute, replacing the one before it. It is slightly more laggy than the other rezzer because it is cycling through rez activity.

2 - The CLICK FOR BIKE version only rezzes out a bike when someone clicks on the rezzer. It has white hovertext above the rack.

This is a RIDE/REZ bicycle; it requires land and it supports a passenger.

This bicycle is convertible at several levels:

(A) It is COPY/MOD, using the standard EDIT tool for manual modifications.
(B) It has several onboard modifiers which conveniently give you literally hundreds of bicycles (including style, color, fender, and seat texture) in one (more about this below).
(C) With one click the bike converts between the diamond frame (known as a "guy's bike") and the step through frame (or "lady's bike).

NOTE: A great many inworld vehicles are revved up so high by default as to make them difficult if not impossible to drive. This annoys me to no end. Our vehicles are generally set with 6 gears at very manageable speeds. Just like in real life, speed is related to manageability. Too much speed will increase your chances to get whipped by lag and to run into buildings or off high cliffs.

The Wingsong Bicycle Cruiser RIDE V3 uses ACS scripts, noted for being the standard of REZ vehicles. Most vehicles utilizing these scripts cost hundreds or thousands of dollars; the scripts are pretty pricey and most builders will pass this expense on to you. We at the Wingsong Dojo do NOT.

FEATURES and HOW TO USE:

1 - REZ your bicycle to the ground in an area where you have land permissions.

2 - This bike is VERY easy to operate: After rezzing the vehicle, RIGHT CLICK on the bike (anywhere except the seat) it and select RIDE. You will find yourself standing in a bit of a lean as you hold your bike up. To begin driving CLICK on the bike and select START ENGINE. Move using arrow keys for forward and turns. Shift up for greater speeds by clicking SHIFT key + right arrow key; shift down by clicking SHIFT + left arrow key. Reverse by pressing the Down Arrow.

Passengers ride on the front fender. To get on the bike after the driver is on, your passenger can click on the front fender and select RIDE. Once they are sitting, they can click on the fender again for a menu allowing them to position themselves for a comfortable fit.

3 - Touch the bike for an onboard menu of functions. Most of these are self explanatory. Some of the features are:
- transmission (manual or automatic)
- light
- custom controls for setting your vehicle to your own preferences for driving style (steering, gears and throttle speed, banking, camera view, etc)
- onboard avatar adjustment
- locking and unlocking to allow others to drive your bike
- resizer
- horn
- flight mode
- turbo mode (This car is preset with relatively low speeds but with a click of a button you are automatically in RACING mode.)
- HUD distributed through menu (includes many items from the menu as well as a speedometer; VERY easy to use)
- Driver's Manual HELP distributed through menu
- alarm system (sounds when anyone else attempts to ride locked bike; the alarm can be manually turned off by owner and it will turn off automatically after about 30 seconds)
- on board graphics - In the GRAPHICS menu select COLOR to recolor your frame. Select SHINE to adjust the shine on your frame. Select COLOR 2 and SHINE 2 to color and shine your fenders. You can also change textures of your frame, seat, and fenders by selecting PAINT from the menu and scrolling through the NEXT and PREVIOUS buttons (including an alpha texture that makes your fenders disappear).

4 - The bike is embedded with high quality original Wingsong animations.

5 - Your wheels and your bike chain rotate when you move.

6 - To convert from a "guy's bike" to a "lady's bike, click on the top tube and it will fade away. To convert back to a guy's bike, click in that area again and it will reappear.
